I dont have sandisk driver for my sansa E260..i cant transfer songs..

Sansa Not Recognized: Try connecting it to the back of your computer or another computer the back straight to the motherboard this should be USB 2.0 and see if it will recognize it as sansa or Drive/removable drive. if it does then download the sansa update software and install it. Make sure you disconnect the sansa and connect it when asked. This will update your sansas firmware and add the Usb Mode. Try to connect it to your computer at home it should recognize.... link for update software (http://mp3support.sandisk.com/sansa/Installer/1082/SansaUpdaterInstall.exe) download to a flash drive much easier. Make sure USB mode is MSC
Recovery Mode may also allow your computer to recognize the sansa
lock your sansa hold in the rec key on the left at the same time push the menu/power button this will take you to recovery mode then connect to the computer Start the update software when finished disconnect.... Sync to upload songs to the sansa......Hope this works

It is getting stuck while refreshing the database.

Depending on the amount of the data or music files you have on your device, "Refreshing Database" may take a while to finish. But if you feel it's frozen you may try the following steps:
Reset the device 1. Press and hold the Power/Menu button for approximately 20 seconds. 2. Release the Power/Menu button. 3. Press the Power/Menu button again to turn on the player. NOTE: Resetting will turn the player off while it is frozen.
Delete recently loaded files 1. Connect the device to the PC in MSC mode using force MSC. 2. Locate and delete recently added files. 3. Disconnect the device from the PC.
If this resolves the issue, proceed to STEP 3. Otherwise, format the device, update to the latest firmware, and reload the songs to the device.
Update to the latest firmware You may need to upload the firmware manually, there are instructions on the links below on how to manually update your firmware Sansa c200 series firmware update Sansa Clip firmware update Sansa e200 series firmware update Sansa Fuze firmware update Sansa View firmware update

My sansa fuze wont play i know it has power in it because the blue light surrounding the center dial is lit yet i cant get a screen to come up nor can i shut it off

Hello,

Sandisk gives next support link, how to recover the player:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/4/kw/blue%20ring/r_id/101834

Solution 1: RESET THE DEVICE
Scroll to the Sansa Fuze on next site, how to perform a reset:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/188/kw/blue%20ring/r_id/101834
f78ea59.jpg

When solution 1 did not help.
Solution 2: RELOAD AND UPDATE THE LATEST FIRMWARE
All data on the player will be erased when updating firmware !
Go to next sites, seeing how to do a firmware update:
1. To perform a firmware update the player has to be in MSC mode.
How to put the player in MSC mode, see the information about the
Fuze player:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/61/kw/blue%20ring/r_id/101834
Putting Sansa Fuze in MSC mode:
1. Turn device OFF.
2. Slide the Hold switch down to Lock (orange color showing).
3. Press and hold the left button ( |<< ) while connecting the device to the PC.

2. Continuing with the firmware reinstallation you can choose either automatic or manual update, see:
http://kb.sandisk.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/278/kw/blue%20ring/r_id/101834
Automatic update using the Sansa Updater.
or
Manual update going to Sansa Forums.

Certain songs on my Sansa m240, will not play

Hi,
If the songs you have are DRM protected then you may need to check with the source from where you've downloaded the track.
Sometimes, if the Music data base on the device is corrupt, even then you may run into such problems.
follow the instructions below to get the sansa firmware updater to make sure that the firmware for your payer is updated automatically:
METHOD 1 - Download and manually update the Sansa m200

NOTE: The manual update does NOT support firmware version 4.X.XXX. Refer to METHOD 2 if the firmware on your Sansa m200 is either 4.X.XXX.

WARNING: All data on your Sansa m200 will be deleted during the firmware update. Back up all your data before proceeding.

STEP 1 - Download the Sansa m200 Firmware Updater .exe file and save it to your desktop.

STEP 2 - Install the Updater
1. Double-click the downloaded .exe file (sdmx3-iv001.exe).
2. Click Next

Frozen at start update

The secret to treating brain damage on the c150 is to definitely use the <http://www.sendspace.com/file/7ge9cr> download. This is a *.rar file and you need to also download the 7zip freeware program to extract the contents of the file to a folder. Read the *.txt message in the folder and follow the directions and you will be back in business. Your c150 will probably occasionally have a relapse so keep the folder on your computer. This works!
