Nero 6 and 7 will not load

I have been running InCd 2.1 for several years with only minor issues. I recently got and error message when the blue screen appeared from Microsoft. It stated to upgrade my InCd program vis Nero. I tried, but it would not upgrade because the progam was not greated than 4.5. I purchased Nero 7. I have tried to load this program, but it will not autostart nor can I load it manualy. I have a newer laptop that loaded okay. How can I get my external Yamaha crw 2200e to recognize the new Nero 7 installlation disks. My InCD 2.1 still loads just fine. Luke1

I am starting to see we are sorry, but an internal error occured please reinstall the product to fix the problem. error-code:1/-3/10900 see doc#5305 And again the INCD helper service is not correctly...

That INCD service or component is a part of Nero. It gets installed with Nero. This was a common problem of Nero 7. What you can do is uninstall and re install the product. You have to use an uninstaller program available (such as your uninstaller) to remove the registry keys as well. Its clearly indicating that the programs is not successfully installed. Note: If you try to install Nero 9 in a Windows XP SP2 environment or in a Windows 7 environment you might receive the same error. Those are compatibility issues. You have to use SP3 in XP and you have to purchase Nero 10 for Windows 7. Incd is not necessary to function Nero. Try to install without Incd. You can do that while installing. Choose the Customized Installation. If you are using Nero 7, I recommend to use Nero 6 or 8 and upwards.
You can download Nero from their web site or using a torrent as well. Some funny things may happen when Nero gets installed partially. Go to Properties by Right Clicking the Taskbar and untick "Hide inactive icons" check box. Click on "Customize". Check the "Behavior property and for the programs which have the setting "Always Hide", select "Always Show" option. Then Apply and click on OK button.
Contact me further if you still have the problem. If the solution works for you please be kind enough to rate the answer as well :-)

When trying to upload application programme for external dvd writer once nero 7 has been installed, message pops up saying disc is not formatted so we cannot install programme to set up dvd writer

go into add/remove programs and look for a previous version of nero. delete / remove it including incd...incd is used for cdrw and dvdrw discs. this is why you are getting format the disc. you will need to reinstall nero again, incl. incd.... also install power dvd it should be on the same disc..

HP external 1040 dvd writer

The Nero software came with InCD, which is a program that allows you to drag files directly onto the CD without having to run CD burning software. It's a novel idea, but I don't think it works all that well. If you're not planning to use it, then uninstall it. If you can't find it in the "Add/Remove programs" list, then you may have to uninstall the Nero software and then reinstall it but unselect to have the InCD software installed.

Blue Screen of death with Re-writable CD`s and DVD`s.

First I would go to the Control Panel > System > Hardware > device manager. There go to cd-dvd drives and right click on the cd drive and then click un-install. Restart your unit then test it,

If that does not work, I would un-install InCD, then re-install it. On Nero's website there a un-installers for Nero and InCD.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Writing disc

There will be different answers for different people. Changing the writing speed to the slowest available (6X for me) may help you – it did not help me. However, after ruining a big pile of DVD-Rs, I seem to have found out what my problem is – there is a conflict between my Picture Motion Browser and my InCD Helper. Here is how I got to my conclusion (I am running Windows XP Professional and have Nero 6):

On Friday, I spent over an hour on the phone with Sony Support (“SS”). SS had me create a new folder on the C:\ Drive, open Picture Motion Browser, select a media file, click the disc creation icon and on the settings tab of the disc creation window: (1) change the “Location of Temporary Files” to the New Folder and (2) check “manually select a writing speed”. Then I started the disc creation process and selected the lowest writing speed available to me (6X). At 50% I got the “Authoring Tool” error and the disc would not burn.

SS next had me restart my computer in Safe Mode (hitting F8 as it starts up) and select “Safe Mode with Networking”. Then I was able to burn several times without an error (even at “Optimum Speed”). Before I got off the phone with SS, he suggested that I disable all items at startup that are not necessary.

Yesterday, I clicked “Start”, then “Run” then typed “msconfig” in the Box, then clicked “OK” to bring up the System Config Utility. On the “Startup” tab (with my brother’s help) I disabled most of the startup items because they were not needed (if my brother was not familiar with a particular program, he looked it up on the internet to see what it did). Among the programs I disabled were InCD (InCD.exe), Nero Back it Up (NBJ.exe) and Nero Check (NeroCheck.exe).

After a Restart, I then tried, in normal mode, to burn a DVD-R with the New Folder/6X setting, with no luck. Bad burn.

My brother then suggested that I go back to the System Config Utility, click the “Services” tab and check the box “Hide All Microsoft Services”, so I could see only the non-Microsoft services that were running (I had 9, which included InCD Helper).

I disabled all the non-Microsoft services, restarted and tried to burn a disc at 16X – GOOD BURN. I then enabled InCD Helper (and kept all other non-Microsoft services disabled) and tried to burn – BAD BURN AT 50%. Next, I enabled all the services except for InCD Helper – GOOD BURN. Then, did another good burn. Then another.

So, turning InCD Helper off seems to be my work-around for using Picture Motion Browser (I kept the temp files location set to the New Folder). Of course, I will need InCD Helper to format my Read-Write CDs. Maybe InCD in Nero 6 is a problem but not in Nero 8. Also, For some of you, there may be conflicts with another program.

Hope this helps.

Need Serial number

read this then try the program on the link , this infromation is about the program Nero Clean Tool Bundle description The Driver-CleanTool will deactivate drivers that caused problems in Nero in the past In some cases it can occur that you have to uninstall Nero or Nero related software (i.e. InCD...). Please use the CleanTool to do that and afterwards download and install the latest version of Nero software you were using. The GeneralCleanTool recognizes if a program is still running and requests a shut down and it can remove files after a reboot in case they are still in use. Also all the Plugins are removed with this tool. Please make sure you have saved these files so you can re-install them afterwards. The Driver-CleanTool will deactivate drivers that caused problems in Nero in the past. In order to ensure that these drivers are also deactivated you will need to run the RegistryChecker file. InCD-CleanTool will remove all InCD files and entries completely from your system. InCD can do a clean install now, without the risk of conflicts with previous versions, for example. NeroClean Tool for Nero 5 & 6 version it will clean the registry and remove all Nero entries. Link to nero removal tool : http://www.softpedia.com/get/Tweak/Uninstallers/Nero-Clean-Tool-Bundle.shtml
