Question about Panasonic CT-32HXC43 32" TV
I went to bed last night turned the t.v off, when i woke up and tried to turn it on it would operate. It does nothing at all, i tried manually and with the remote, there is no sound or l.e.d when i try to turn it on. i plugged it in to another socket still nothing, i have my surround sound and cable box on the same circuit and they work fine. We had rain but no lightning, if power surge can i fix it?
The 6.3 Amp 125V fuse always blows on this TV after a while. replace with a 6.3Amp 250V fuse and it should do the trick unless something else is wrong. a 6.3 amp 125V is almost impossible to find so chances are if you find a 6.3 it will work. Tried a 6 Amp 125v at first and it blows after the first time you turn it on and off and then back on again. 250V seems to work well. Hope this works for anyone else with this TV. Beats having to move it to the trash because it is HEAVY.

There is a small panel that has one screw on it where the cord enters the unit. The fuse is a 6.3A 125 volt glass fuse and it is tricky to get out.
Make sure the power is unplugged. I used and o-ring pick to pry up one end and then gently pullet it up, then used a piece of electrical tape on the pick to pull the fuse out. Extra long needle nose pliers may do the trick alos.

The line fuse is located near the place where the line cord enters the circuit board. If you have a power surge the fuse may very well be blown but also something in the power supply is more than likely shorted. such as regulator, varistor, or diode. You could try a new fuse of the same value and if it "blows" you'll know something is shorted. If this is the case then you'd need to have it checked out at a TV Shop. Hopefully you can get a free estimate. Stargazer
