SOURCE: yamaha GO46 firewire audio interface
Hi. It might be a bit late, but the solution to your problem is the fact that the phones level is dependent on output 3-4. If you turn 3-4 all the way up you should be able to hear something. You might want to route all the outputs to the digital mixer.

Hello. I had the same problem and solved by mere casuality. If you disconnect the AC power adaptor and let the Firewire connection to be the only power supplier, then the GO46 will be inmediately recognised by the "Preferences -> Sound" panel of the G4.
Hope I've been helpful. Bye.

get a new soundcard GO46 is a bag of trouble. I had to get a special Firewire Card with a Texas Instrument chip, since the cheap internal firewire interfaces don't work with this card. Also make sure you are not running XP64, since it is not supported. good luck

can be overheating. I had the same problem and opened it. It is really hot! Put a fan just above it and it works better!
