Re: motorola v3 razor bluetooth
Here is how you work bluetooth file transfers. You both need to put your phones in a discoverable mode. Then you both look for new devices in your bluetooth sections. once you find eachothers phones you need your security passwords to link the two phones together. ONce connected you should go and set you connection status to automatic. Then simply find the files you want to transfer then send it through the bluetooth and everything should work. for anymore help I need the Exact Model of both the phones.
Hi i have a similar problem with my v3 and phoned vodaphone yesterday, they said on the newest motorola they have changed the software in phone not to accept all bluetooth signals from other phones as you can receive viruses throu your bluetooth.
it is a real pain cause my old v3 had no problems and i only just had it replaced because had trouble with the screen.
they also said samsung phones are much the same on accepting blue tooth from other phones?
hope this helps
Ok so your phone detects other people's phone in a limited range of area around you through your bluetooth, although your range doesn't really matter. So when you send your freind something through bluetooth does your light in the corner light up?, is your friends phone detectting your phone so it will reciecve what your sending through blue tooth, otherwise I'm not sure.

Bluetooth is the only way I know to get ringtones onto your V3 other than downloading the ringtones or ordering a program called motorola phone tools. Your V3 isn't capable of whole songs. I have a phone that is a V3xx and it has a memory card that is recognized by windows as an external drive.
if she bought the ringtones they will not be able to be sent in messages to your phone because they dont allow that. if it wasnt brought it should work and it would only cost as much as a picture being sent (multimedia)...... hope this information helps
motorolas are really bad in bluetooth, the menus are really deceiving, but nevertheless, it is there!! here is how to do it
this will enable the bluetooth to be detected for 60seconds. it will say. once the little symbol disappears from the top, this means the bluetooth is undetectable and you will have to click find me again to enable it!!
