    HAS 390VAC IS THAT OK. THEN I THINK IF PROBLEMS IS MATERSBOART?

the thermocoupler fuse is what it is called by the way. i also saw that it could be the "power board" which could or could not be synonymous with the thermocoupler. anyway, again it is a common problem with these models. Scott Jackson, MS

Most common proble is Bad Capaciotrs on Power supply Board they will be vented or swollen on Top 1000uf 16v 2200uf 10v 3300uf 10v

These blinks [flashes] are fault indication (Error Codes). From the number of blinks occur at one time switch ON, you can get an idea about the faulty circuit stage inside it. This will make repair easy. These are called blinking codes. Make sure about the exact number of blinking of the standby/power led, by switching On & OFF the set, for at least two times. KDL-52w4100 won't turn on and LED blinks 6 times

Tv has power but will not turn on
Very vague but okay let me give you some reasons:

1. bad power supply
2. bad inverter voard
3. bad capacitor inside the power supply
4. burned out fuse.

These are common answers why your TV just is not turning on. You gave me no leway to work with like "my frount power led is red" or "my standby light is bling X times" Vague issues vague answers please od leave postive feedback and ratings for your vague answer today!

PT-53WX52F Power LED blinking 2 times
I think your problem requires a call to the manufacturer. My sony tv was blinging 4x and I noticed that I was losing picture. I thought perhaps a short or cable problem, but when I called sony the number of blinks indicated a picture tube that was going to blow. I did not wait I said good bye to a good television and purchased a new one as the repair would cost more than a new TV. You might be luckier 2 blinks could indicate something else. Good Luck!
