I'm thinking you're talking about some Lexmark printer drivers. The Vista compatability page is here:
http://www.lexmark.com/lexmark/sequentialem/home/0,6959,204816596_1019285789_0_en,00.html

There don't appear to be drivers for either of those printers -- neither is directly supported under Vista. If I were you, though, I'd at least try that X1110 driver for the X1100 -- if it installs and works, great.

You can also see if Vista has built-in support -- work your way through the menus. I think you're out of luck, though -- sorry.

Go to the following link and enter in the model of the printer, then select Vista for the operating system. I just installed vista drivers for an X1100 series printer last weekend. Worked GREAT!

Good Luck!

I cannot install my dell A940 printer using the CD to my Toshiba with windows 7

Often, older printers do not have drivers for Windows 7. Mostly because the manufacturer decided that this printer is too old to develop new drivers. The only possible solution would be to use Windows Vista drivers. Vista drivers are similar to Windows 7 and have worked for me in the past.

Hi,
I assume you are using the Vista disk that came in with the system. Even though you can see a product key on your friends computer, It would not work on your own computer because that product key is intended only for that DELL computer. The windows Vista that your friend has is an OEM copy of the operating system. The product key should match the Hardware of the OEM computer for it to work.
I suggest you get a genuine copy of the operating system for your self.
Hope this helps.

Need drivers webcam for windows 7

Currently there aren't any drivers for your computer with Windows 7. Dell only offers drivers for your computer with Windows XP or Windows Vista. I would try using the Creative Labs Webcam Driver they have for Vista. Since many things about Vista & 7 are similar, often the drivers for Vista will work with Windows 7. Go to dell.com, enter the model of your computer, choose Vista as your operating system, then go to Input Devices, choose the Creative Webcam and download the driver to your desktop (I suggest against using Dell's Download Manager, just download via your browser like you usually would). Then install the driver. With any luck your will be up and running with your webcam.

Trying to install a lexmark x63 to my computer

Here's a link to Lexmark's site where you can download the printer drivers:

http://downloads.lexmark.com/perl/downloads/downloads.cgi?ccs=229:1:0:93:0:0

If your computer is running Windows Vista this printer may not work. At least Lexmark doesn't offer drivers for Vista. This either means it's not compatible, or that Vista doesn't need any special driver software.

Problems with downloading printer

This is what Lexmark says to do if you are having trouble loading your drivers:

(a)Attention Windows Vista Users
If you have installed your printer on your PC using an original Lexmark Driver CD that came with your product and you are experiencing problems when printing, you may have installed the Windows XP driver.

Follow these steps to resolve:
· Disconnect your USB cable from your printer.
· Uninstall all Lexmark printer drivers on your PC.
· Download the correct Vista driver for your model.
· Install the driver on your PC.

Important - Do not reconnect the USB cable until the install software prompts the question of how the printer is connected.

Here is the link to the correct Vista 32bit drivers for the X1100 series.

I have a Lexmark X63 printer, but it is not listed as one of the printers that is compatible with my Acer computer.

Does the computer have Windows Vista on it?

If so, that is correct. Lexmark does not have a Vista driver for the X63.

However, many people with Lexmarks (and other non-Vista supported models) have had success using Windows 2000 drivers on computers with Vista installed.

If you have Windows XP installed, or if you have Vista and want to try the Windows 2000 driver, they can both be downloaded here, directly from Lexmark:

http://downloads.lexmark.com/cgi-perl/downloads.cgi?lxkprod=Lexmark+X63

Be sure to UNPLUG the printer from the PC before installing the software. ONLY plug it in once the on-screen instructions tell you to do so.
