RCA Lyra 2gb MP3 player--frozen

Well, I have a RCA Lyra too, and I pretty much have to reset it everyday. It doesn't delete my songs, but it may depend on what model you have. (Mine is a MC2601.)Reseting it is probably your best bet...I guess just cross your fingers and hope it doesn't delete your songs. Good luck =)

Updateing

If you mean upgrading the firmware, use the Lyra software that was installed on your computer. Just right click on it, and select "Check for firmware updates." You can also go to rcaaudiovideo.com and search for firmware for your Lyra there. Hope this helps!

Unit displays "RCA" when turned on, nothing else

Update the firmware off the RCA/Thompson site. Likely that the current firmware is damaged.
