Question about Aiptek PocketCam 3M Digital Camera

Web cam one of my mates said that you can use a normal digital camera as a web cam. i asked my dad and he said that this was true. ive lost the manual and disc for the camera and i cant find an online manual anywhere. does anyone know if i can use it as a web cam and if so how? i have windows xp so it should work

On the Canon Powershot IXUS 185 I've turned off the date stamp setting (it says 'off' when I check the settings). Yet it is still putting the date and time on my photos. Is there another way?
