Scooter battries must be charged on a regular basis.or else the on board charger wont charge them .Try useing a trickle charger to bring them back to life. if you dont have access to one bring them to a local service station they should charge them for a small fee.

My go go ultra doesn't work I put in new batteries, fully charged, had power a couple of times for about 2 seconds, and now nothing. I just bought this scooter and the only thing I know about it is that it...

check the battery contacts, from memory the rear section with the batteries in lift out and there are a set of contacts on the battery box and on the scooter body, you may need to clean and check if they are spring action that they are springing in to place.

Old Pride Rally won't charge or run

The batteries may be too old to take a charge. They are gell cell types and can be had at any battery shop. You can get them on line too, but shipping will be high.

Phantom battery won't charge

Hello

Are you sure your battery charger is working correctly. Have you tried it on another battery? Possibly, there is a wiring problem, or your battery is the type that needs distilled water - Try another known good and charged battery with your scooter before purchasing a new one to ensure that the wiring is not faulty.

My aunt recently bought a secondhand scooter shoprider us pat no 4798255 without a users manual and the scooter will not charge please could you help?

Kathryn Was the scooter working when she bought it? If the batteries were fully charged and now it won't charge then I would suspect the charger. If the scooter wasn't charged when she got it and won't charge then I would replace the batteries Hope this helps

When first purchased the scooter was charged but barely used for approx. 3 months. when we began using it regularly the first two charges lasted for a weeks use each. from then on the red charge light goes...

Well if the scooter wasn't charged regularly while it sat for 3 months then the batteries are probably weak and will need to be replaced. These smaller batteries will not tolerate not being charged regularly and unfortunately one or both batteries has gotten weaker and does not hold a charge like it should when new. Sorry i can't give you a better answer Remember to charge the new batteries before use and if you are not using the scooter regularly (daily) always put up fully charged and charge at least once a week. If you use it daily charge the scooter when you go to bed and unplug when you get up in the morning. If you do this you should get good use out of your batteries. Hope this helps

The (new) batteries indicate from the charger that they are fully charged yet only go for 1 mile before indicator goes 'red".

diane how far did ya used to go with a full charge? Just because the provider said the batteries are new doesn't mean they are new coulda sat on the self for 6 months. New batteries can go bad or in your case probably just one is bad. batteries should be under warranty contact the place you bought them and have them check them for you make sure they are fully charged when they pick them up. Hope this helps

Schwinn S180 won't charge

NashvilleDan, this scooter has 2 12v 10 amp batteries in series, you should read over 24 volts at the charging hub if the batteries are good. I would think that if the scooter sat for over a year you have bad batteries, They can be purchased at battery plus.
