The proview tv will not go to tv

I have a proview flat panel tv. I can not get it to go to tv so we canwatch it . Its like it has deleated tv off of its menue selection. All we get when the source button is hit is hm1,hm2 no tv sorce on the tv or remote. How do I fix this?

I pressed the side buttons of the tv thinking that is how to use the dvd, but it changed off HTM1 and I can't see and picture nor hear any sound. I called DISH and they do not know how to fix it.

Need a code for my remote from an Element tv

If you use Philips universal remote with 4 digit codes; use Proview codes instead of element or Polaroid tV codes. Mine element TV works with 1104.

If you use other universal remotes look up proview codes and try them. Proview makes both element and polaroid TVs.

I have proview flat screen tv pa32jk1sa and it plays sound but has no picture justa black screen what can be done

Check your cables and make sure their all in good standing.....change the "input" to "TV" and see if your get snow on the screen. If there's a snowy picture then the screen is good, if not then its a job for your local flat panel tv shop or my shop. There's definitely a problem in the video control section, or dc-to-ac inverter section.....
