if it is a horizontal it needs a drip sheild. if it is an upflow the cfm might be set to high on the blower

SOURCE: Just installed a new Honeywell rth2310 thermostat

Do you have 4 wires going to you thermostat and do you have an R and Rh terminal or R and Rc terminal on your new thermostat?
If so then you need to put a jumper wire from R to Rh or R to Rc.

Replacing a heat element in this model is a good idea if it's bad.. Otherwise I would suggest changing the part that is defective. ;-)

you can check the inside door chart, and it will map out the led light readout for you. just follow the instructions on the panel and it will tell you possible problems and what you may need to fix to make your unit run correctly.

Hello, I have a rbha-17 electric heat system. My

the orange or blue wire should go to the heat pump and energize the reversing valve and the compressor should be running when the heat pump is on. All it does is reverse the flow of refrigerant and pull btu's from the outside air and deliver them to your house. Check to see if your aux. heat is coming on with the heat pump. If it is electric furnace, this will help explain why your bill is so high.
