White screen My camera (olympus Fe-46) seems fine when I turn it on, but when I make a picture outside, the screen turns white instead of showing the picture. When trying to make a picture in my room, it showed the picture with horizontal black stripes on it. Has anybody got a suggestion/solution for this problem?

You must go to a camera technician. There are some parts inside that already been loosen. That's what happened to my camera before.

I have the same problem and i have contacted the Canon company and i am currentley waiting for a reply for them. I dont know how many peopled read this all that often, but i just thought i would ask a few questions for those who have been working on this problem of a while. From what i hear there is a recall on the CCD chip...true? Also, i was wondering if it is under a recall, replaced for free? and if not under the warrenty, would they replace is granted i did not do anything to it?

Hi,
There are two possibilities for said problem, one is ccd imager chip failure that will be replaced and other is jammed aperture that is inbuilt in lens mechanism and lens assembly will be replaced.
In either problem, camera needs visual check of qualified tech, local camera repair shop will help you.
