Not acknowleging We bought a microphone last year and realised it didn't work on this computer but because it was cheap we went and bought a logitech desktop one. And still it isn't acknowledging any microphone on the computer at all.. It is Windows XP Pro. Is it the computer do you think or are the settings not correct? Please can you tell me what settings should me what on the control panel so i can check. Thanks

I am frustrated as my Logitech mic does not work. I have the headset and mic in one. I can hear clearly but the mic does not work. I have tried just about everything with volume control etc., nothing is muted. I am now attempting to use Skype for a project but the mic will not work. It is all plugged in correctly. When I plug in the headset and mic Realtek HD Audio Manager comes up and click "ok" as appropriate. What else can I do, I really need this to work as I have a project to work on. Thanks

If you go to the control panel and click on sounds, speech, and audio device. After click on Advanced volume control on the left hand side. Click on options and then properties make sure that the mic is selected and hit ok. Then go to options again and click on advanced controls you would see that the advanced controls on the mic showed. Next click on the advanced button and unselect the check marks under the other contols and this should work.

Just make sure that you are hocking up you mic in the right plugs int he back of the computer. just match the colors. you need also to go to the audio panel (it is called volume icon)and check in for mic and make sure that is not muted there. if you use the mic for msn for instance, you need to go to tools, audio and video options and just follow dircetions.good luck

Logitech Microphone 600 - not working

Not sure the problem is in the driver. Just bought the microphone and probably don't know how to use it. My computer has a sound recorder but I can't get any audio? I think I just don't know what I am doing.

No sound from logitech speakers, they worked 2 songs and then stop working i ve got control whit buttons on top of speaker but no sound please help

FOR MACS... Last February(08) I bought the V20 Logitech speakers for my Apple iBook laptop. I got them to work. Hadn't used them for about a year and had forgotten how to get the sound to emerge. I went to System Preferences. Clicked on Sound. I had plugged in the USB. Didn't show up. Unplugged it and plugged in again and there it was! I clicked on it and the sound came through immediately. So wait to plug in the speakers until you have opened Sound. (And Pandora (superb Internet radio station) is playing flawlessly.) I am not familiar with PCs. Sorry.

If you are using skype, go to the upper left hand top and click on call. Then click on audio settings and make sure your microphone is listed as the mike to use in the window of the drop down menu. It should say logitech something in the window that says microphone.
