The record voice is stuck on and I can't get it to switch back to the mp3 songs.

There are only 4 buttons on this thing. "Switch songs type" is not one of them. I've tried everything and I still can't listen to songs, just me furiously yelling at it every time I hit RECORD

Actually there are 5 buttons (6 counting the reset inside) and the
ROCKER button for volume also is a MENU button (M) if you hold in for several seconds rather than rocking up down for volume. WIth menu up you can switch from fm radio , music , voice , navigate or setup functions. These are all in the book but
Samsung is never to clear in translating their instructions to english.

Mp3 players stuck on line in recording

I had the same problem. I opened my zen V plus and noticed that the recording switch did not have the proper tactile feedback, which means the spring is somehow jammed and the contact blade can open or close the contact randomly. I scratched away the top half of the plastic casing (which was abnormally soft) and removed with a tweezer the tiny blade that closes the contact. File system error in (TRANSCEND mp3 T.sonic 630/1GB)

1.download the appropriate firmware from here 2.press and hold reset button for 2 seconds 3.run the firmware updater 4.press and hold "volume -" button while connecting to system. 5.the updater will detect the player and it will upgrade the firmware.

Deleting voice recordings

all you have to do is go to all songs list....then you have to select a recording (most likely titled MEC(then some numbers) next hold the back arrow down for about three seconds and a little grey list should pop up....select delete song/recording. that's all you have to do.

do you see where the power button is and the record button is hold them together for about 30 seconds and it should turn off if it doesnt turn off switch the hold botton at the top on and it should say KEY LOCKED: SYSTEM SHUT DOWN and then you press the power button and the record button and it should say recovery mode and then if you have acces to the internet you go to tinyurl.com/nwtp4 and it should say download you press download and then it says do you agree with the license agreement you click yes

If your lazy he's the cut and paste from the manual;

1. To start voice recording, press M twice to access the Home menu.
2. Press or to highlight “Voice Recording". Then press to advance. (thats the key you would press to skip ahead a song)
3. Press or to highlight “Record”. Then press to access voice recording
mode.
4. Press when the display shows “Ready” to start voice recording.
5. Press to pause record. Press again to resume recording.

I had a hard time myself with this fuction so don't feel alone. I used the voice record to record a lecture and it was surprising sensitive but then again I had the professer put it in is front shirt pocket. It would over modulate a bit but was audioable and served its fuction for me

First switch your USB control to MSC. Then turn off your mp3 player and activate the hold icon. Then turn it on while holding the record button with hold icon still being activated. then it will go to recovery mode. Now plug your sandisk into the computer and wait until it says RECOVERY COMPLETE...PLEASE DISCONNECT or when it just says for you to disconnect. This worked on my sandisk, and it hopefully work for you.
