Your unit maybe on protect condition that why on standby mode,,,it means theirs a truoble in circuit inside that why happened...try to consult in the nearest service cnter or a wll trained technician,,wish you luck
It's very simple just remove the TV wire connected to your DVD drive then an option will pump up, asking you whether you want to use it, then select yes that's ok, it's done
Please can anyone help me, my tv switched off itself cant switch it back on. it is on standby mode tried everything in vain the model is Toshiba 28/32YT56
its likely that eith er the y sus or x sus pcb have gone faulty or it could be the main or power supply pcb. if all else fails, check voltages and if they are ok from each point , you need to replace the plasma panel.
Neovia Neo-3775: Standby Led permanently on amber when powered up with no screen or sound. Does not respond to remote or to TV controls. My problem is same as Ed's posted in 2009 - any ideas?
Sorry about that. When the tv goes bad like not turning on, the green light will blink, and goes right back to red standby light while the dtv letters will briefly show on the lower right of the tv screen, then go back to blank screen. The tv will need to be taken to an authorized service center for repair. Common causes are a bad inverter/power supply, power control board, or circuit board.
this is because you are recording a direct connection (what is on the screen is recorded) that is an option with some equipment.. unfortunately this means if there is nothing on the screen well you get nothing..
You need to record from the machines own built in tuner dont use direct record.. a vcr/pvr/dvdr after all remember is like a tv without a screen that can record it has its own channels to do this
Your backlight finally went out. If doing it yourself, you need to order 2 to 4 backlights along with an inverter. It is good to replace both at the same time. The backlights are like mini floresent tubrs that need to be taken out and replaced by some one who has done it before. The cost will run you about 50.00 if you do it yourself.
Take care
Kevin
I have to same problem, but not blinking five times., It is continuous
