Question about Sony Ericsson P900

1 Answer

Saving Message I only got 26 messages in inbox and it is already giving me a "memory full" message? I'm thinking there's something wrong with my setting. How do I set it in such a way that the messages goes to my phone memory or the memory stick.

1st Open new sms click 'Inbox' select new folder create a name for your folder click save, click done then click Inbox select folder name you want the MMS to be saved to repeat for each one same for MMS & emails Once you have all your folder names you can click Inbox Msrk all choose one folder name and put all marked into same folder if you wish. They will go onto your phone memory by default. MMs & email you can choose whether phone or memory stick is your new folder location. Hope this helps One final comment when it says memory full it applies to your Inbox not genrally your phone.

Problem in sending sms in Nokia 6120 Classic:it says "memory full" need simple remedy not resotre factory setting.

Hi,

This is a simple remedy. Check where your sms messages get into either in your memory card or direct into your phone memory. I think where the messages are in your inbox, sent message, outbox, saved messages, in your phone memory or Sim card memory is full and you need to delete some of the sms to stop display message full.

Hope it helps.

Good luck.

Masseages

Cannot expand capacity, but you must delete your SENT messages. They are taking up the room and leaving you with only a small amount of space for your inbox. Check your outbox and sent msgs and delete them.
Good luck!! EJ Kudelka

Message inbox was full, now cannot access anything

You should first delete files in your phone gallery manually before you go to your inbox. Delete pictures, videos or something that you don't need in your phone memory. Restart your phone to refresh the system.
Hope this could help you alot Thanks..

Can't access anything on Nokia 6300. It locked up and gives message of: (Message storage memory not ready) No Nokia place around to take it to. Please help!

The phone's memory is full, which causes the error message and lock ups. This error prevents you from freeing up memory by deleting messages.

Try the following (taken from the Nokia support forum): http://discussions.nokia.co.uk/discussions/board/message?board.id=hardware&thread.id=7775

1. Delete unused names/numbers from the address book to free up memory. (Perhaps write down the ones you want to keep for later re-entry)
2. Once a critical threshold is reached the msg inbox indicator will blink on
3. Enter inbox and DELETE as many messages as you can before phone freezes up again
4. If phone freezes or you get the error message again, restart and keep deleting from the phone book until it allows you hassle-free msg inbox access as per normal (but don't forget to continue deleting thos messages).
