Your problem maybe your X board which is the same as PCB X sustain. Changing the fuse in this case may NOT solved your problem. If you are handy, you may be able to change the board yourself. This is a common problem with plasma tvs You did not mention whether you could generate any sound like through your dvd player or something like that. Whether you have audio or not makes a difference on which board may be causing you the problem. Just because it does not have a picture for tv viewing does not mean it won't produce some type of sound through your av1 input. Try it and I'll try to be more specific.

Hi,

There are a number reasons why this might happen:

• The backlight has gone (Find a dark place and shine a torch into the screen and see if you can see an image in the background, if you see an image then the backlight has gone) - Needs a new backlight (Engineer to remove and fit) or have a new panel fitted.
• The panel has died - Need a new panel
• A cable has worked itself loose or is broken
• The inverter has gone - Need new inverter
• The driver board is faulty
