Never happened to me, but try reseting the phone. You do this by turning the phone off and then back on again but hold the home button while turning it back on. If this doesn't work, you might have to take your phone to a repair center.
Hi
The problem you are experiencing has to do with the screen of your mobile. All you need to do is to get to a phone store and get the screen of your phone replaced so your phone can work perfectly again.
GOODLUCK
The flex is what connects the screen of the phone to the board of the phone.
what you are experiencing is common with all flip phones and slide phones, the more you flip and slide these type of phones, the flex gets weaker and that may be the cause of the blank screen
What you should do is;
Open your phone, you will see a plasticlike cable connecting your phone screen to the board of your phone(that is the flex)
Remove the flex and fix it back carefully, you should hear a click sound.
Close your phone and switch it on you wont have a blank screen anymore.
if you cant do this yourself, get a person with experience to do it for you
I think the your screen may have given up due to long use or due to miosture. This may be fixed by changing the LCD sreen from your mobile's authorized dealer.
I managed to fix mine! It takes some doing and is probably not for the faint hearted. You have to disassemble the Ocean from the battery side, removing the qwerty keyboard, to gain access to the slider assembly.
Disassemble the slider (pay attention to the spring!) and clean all contacts and make sure all of the flex cables are seated completely. Mine was working OK the qwerty way, but was blank and/or garbled the long way. Now it works great!
you probably need a new ribbon in your phone
same happened to me. the screen just went white and whenever i turned it on it just stayed white.
i had my phones screen replaced, the ribbon replaced and it re-flashed and its fine now, so i'd say its probably the ribbon.
try to check the sensor light on the upper left part and press it maybe its a little loose only....because i had the same problem a while ago and when i press the one connected to the sensor light.... a small brown board, it works properly...maybe yours is a little loose also....no need to pay try this one first....
It must be a connection problem, to the LCD, or the light is not working.
Can only be sorted by looking at it really.
Back to Telstra I'm afraid. If it's new let them sort it out, if it's not try a reset take the sim card out first then input this code *#7780# (Best to use this code as a last resort) Give it time to work.
