I had the same problem with the light black and light magenta as well. It took trying only one new cartridge with the light magenta before it worked.
The light black took 4 new cartridges before it worked. I had called the Epson support center on this problem and after going through suggestions they made that did not work, I told the guy I had another new cartridge on hand. He said to go ahead and try it. This time the printer worked. He took my name and address and said the other cartridges were faulty. Epson is sending me new replacement cartridges at no charge.

This means that your printer wast pad is full this now you reset your printer but make sure you have put new pads in 1st

  1. Turn off the printer power and unplug the power cord from the wall. Disconnect the computer interface cable at the back of the printer.
  2. After one minute reattach the power plug to the wall, but don’t reattach the computer cable.
  3. Hold down the ROLL and the PAPER ADVANCE buttons simultaneously.
  4. Turn the printer on. after 2 blinks, all the ink lights come on, then release the buttons being held down.
  5. Press and hold the ROLL button for 10 seconds.
  6. Release the ROLL button and the printer will initialize, which resets the Waste Ink Pad Counter.
  7. Once initialization is complete, turn the printer power off.
  8. Reconnect the interface cable.
  9. Turn the printer on and print a document.

Where do I find ink supply level on epson 2200 ink

Open the Epson Printer Utility, Click on the printer name if you have more than one printer then OK. Click on Epson Status Monitor at top. A dialog box will come up telling you if any ink needs to be replaced. Click on the OK button in this box and this will take you to another dialog box which will show you the amount of ink left for each color.

How do you change the black cartridge in the printer epson stylus nx115

Here is the Link showing instructions below. If you find this helpful, pls rate me.

Replace Ink Cartridges
Your Epson Stylus NX110 Series and its software will let you know when an ink cartridge is low or expended.
If ink is low, the ink light flashes. You can continue printing until a cartridge needs replacement.
If a cartridge is expended, the ink light stays on. You must replace the cartridge to be able to print.

Warning:
Keep ink cartridges out of the reach of children and do not drink the ink.
Note:
If you need to change a cartridge before it or any other cartridges are low or expended, run the Ink Cartridge Replacement utility.

You cannot print or copy when an ink cartridge is expended even if the other cartridges are not expended. Replace any expended cartridges before printing or copying.

Leave your old cartridges in the Epson Stylus NX110 Series until you are ready to
replace them to prevent the print head nozzles from drying out.
When an installed ink cartridge is more than six months old, you may need to replace it if your printouts do not look their best, even after cleaning and aligning the print head.
Follow the instructions in these sections to check and replace your ink cartridges:
Check Cartridge Status
Purchase Epson Cartridges
Replace Cartridges Using a Printer Software Utility
Remove and Install Cartridges

EPSON 2200 - Waste Ink Pad Replacement

You can replace the pads yourself.... I wouldn't really mess with it though. There are other ways Google search "Waste Ink Epson 2200" to see how to setup an external tank.. I have mine setup this way and its been no problem.... If you're set on taking them out remove the screws from the sides and middle and the bottom will drop away and reveal the pads.

2200 locked up

disconnect the printer from the computer - power off printer - check for obstructions / torn papers - power on

if paper light is still on/flashing and pressing it does not do anything - you got a hardware issue - call manufacturer for reccomendation
