The first thing to do is to roll back your computer to a day or so before this happened. In other words go to "System Restore" Click on Start, click on Programs, Click on Accessories, a side list opens up, Click on Tools, another side list opens click on System Restore. then follow instructions. If this fails go to "control panel">>>>>> Click on "Printers and Faxes">>>>check see if The Lexmark is checked to be your default printer, if not right click and set for default. If no help check the device manager. (double click on system, click on "hardware" then click on "device manager" If there is a yellow question mark you may need a new driver for the Lexmark. All of this assumes that you have already tried to re-install the original Lexmark software that should have been tried first. Here is the most important part: If all of this fails you can exercise your option of trading in your boy for a new Lexmark. I am, however, certain that your printer is fine and nothing is burnt in it. A little patience will bring it back on board. Good luck ! !
