HP scanjet G2710 serial number - HP scanjet 3970 digital flatbed scanner

The 10 character serial number and the product number are located (on my 3970) on a sticker on the inside of the cover.

You can verify that you have the correct numbers if you enter them at

http://h20000.www2.hp.com/bizsupport/TechSupport/WarrantyLookup.jsp?lang=en&cc=us&prodSeriesId=298547&prodTypeId=15179

That will tell you if they are the wrong numbers as well as the warranty status of your scanner.

I see The Serial number the scanner needs is the registration number and that is usually found in the paper work you have or written on the cover of the CD I would leave the two versions on there because one should have updated the other one (see what happens when you put the number in)

Hi


Use the Scan to PDF software to direct convert your scan page to PDF, download the software to click hear
and simple to install to this software, after installing you get the shortcut in your desktop double click that one and open your scaner is automatic install there put the document in scanner and click scan after scanning click save to PDF and give the save file name and save.
