Hi anyone, my Bauknecht dishwasher starts the cycle the after about 5 minute on any cycle is just stops and starts beeping continuously and does not stop until its turned off. Never completes a cycle. Any one have any ideas whats wrong. Filter is clean, lots of rinse aid and salt so don't know whats wrong.
I have this problem frequetly - it's an easy one to fix! Just press the programme button which changes the programme setting you want (on my built-in GSX4756 it's the last button on the right) and keep it pressed in until the beeping stops. Then start it again (will probably be on the rinse programme if it's like mine).
Excellent! Just followed your advice with our dishwasher that must be twelve years old and has never given any trouble, and its back on form. Thanks from central England!Excellent! I think. However, rarely have I encountered an inlet valve that
emitted a burning smell. So I'd expect there to be some other problem
in there. But, if the inlet valve didn't pass the test, then it
needs to be replaced. Plus, if it was stuck on the rinse cycle and the
valve was out, then that is where the cycle would hang up. Burning
smells usually come from a motor, a belt, shorted wiring or a heating
element. So if everything else checks out, then go for replacing the
valve. The instructions are included in our dishwasher repair section.
Bauknecht are built by Whirlpool.
F7 on Whirlpool means flow meter failure.
Check water inlet, check the pressure switch, and check the sump filter at the bottom of the dishwasher. To reset try turning on the power and holding the start button and the + and - buttons at the same time.
Set the machine to the end of the drying cycle, when it has finished, try pouring boiling water into the machine about a kettle full there is a sump level control beneath the removable filter (where all the **** gathers) if this has fat deposits on it this type of problem can occur.
