You will need to know your serial number. They are free to download, but if you want to order a paper copy, you have to pay for it. Hope this helps and please don't forget to rate!

SOURCE: Problem mowing my lawn.

I had the same problem and I already found those recommended solutions\ causes on the web:
1. The motor isn't on full throttle.
2. The blade is upside down.
3. The grass is too high when cutting it.
4. Overlap your cuts.

It helped my problem/ I hope it will help yours too!

SOURCE: BLack and decker electric lawn mower blaDE IS loose and not turn

If it's like mine (MM 875), it has a plastic "clutch" that has little edges on it that broke off when I was chopping sticks with the mower ;-) Went to the local B&D place and got a new one for less than $3.

But now I'm worrying about the nut holding the blade on -- if I try to get it good and tight, the plastic "clutch" spins around off-kilter... Funny how I never even looked at the blade after I bought the mower used, but never worried about the blade being loose and flying off.

SOURCE: I have a Honda GCV 160 LAWNMOWER IT WILL ONLY RUN

BEFORE you go thru all of the advice and look at most other Honda web info.....go and buy a brand new spark plug and start with that! It appears Honda used a NGK spark plug in the past that fails after some time....giving the syptoms of problems with the carb, runs for 10-30 seconds, sticky valve, etc. Do not try to clean and use the old spark plug!! Check this out....it was the answer I was looking for after hours of work, reading, and talking to Honda dealers ---- http://forum.doityourself.com/outdoor-power-equipment-small-engines/261743-honda-lawnmower-starting-then-cutting-out.html

SOURCE: lawn mower husqvarna problem

I have an XT721F self-propelled, auto choke Husqvarna mower. The first time I used it this season it ran for a short time and then just quit on me. I have since emptied out all of the gas and have replaced it with high octane 91, and have also added Seafoam to clean out any other issues. I mowed two weeks ago with no problems and went to mow again today and only made it through 2/3 of my back yard and the mower stalled out on me again. What's going on?

How do I change the drive belt on a 7021r mower? The drive will move the mower on pavement but not on the grass

First, you need to make sure you have the right tools for the job. You'll need a wrench, work gloves, mower blade clamp, drain pan and fresh fuel. Check your owner's manual for the correct belt to your specific lawn mower. Belts that are not specifically designed for your mower will not fit properly and may wear down prematurely. Next, remove the spark plug wire. This is a safety precaution to prevent the mower from accidentally starting.
Now you can remove the screws that secure the drive cover to the mower deck. Once you've taken off the drive cover, loosen the screw that holds the belt tension spring to the transmission. As the screw is loosened, tension on the belt is released allowing you to remove the belt off of the front transmission pulley.
At this point you'll need to turn your mower on its side to take off the mower blade. Be sure to use a work glove to protect your hand when removing the mower blade. You can use a lawn mower blade clamp over the blade to secure it. Unscrew the bolt to remove the blade and then the engine baffle. Once the pulley unit is exposed, you can remove the entire drive belt. Insert the new drive belt and place one end on the rear pulley and re-attach the engine baffle. Then, place the mower blade back (making sure it's facing the correct way with bottom of the blade facing the ground) and tighten the bolt. Remove the clamp and return the mower to its upright position so you can place the other end of the belt to the front pulley. Remember to tighten the screw to the tension spring.
Put the front drive cover back on, tighten the screw that secures the cover to the deck and reconnect the spark plug wire. Add new fuel to your mower and you're done!

How do I put the belt back on my Honda gcv 160 self propelled lawn mower?

Hi bairboys,

Here is a link for your owner's manual: http://weborder.husqvarna.com/order_static/doc/HOUS/HOUS2009/HOUS2009_532430880.pdf

The instruction and belt diagram are on page 13.

Hope this helps. If it does, I'd appreciate a 4 thumbs up. Thanks,

My deck is cutting unevenly

do a google search for "craftsman mower manual". most likely you can download an owner's manual at the sears, or craftsman, or AYP websites. there will be instructions for leveling the deck in the manual.
generally this occurs after someone works on it to replace a blade or belt. the deck is dropped from the mower, the blades are put back on wrong or the deck is rehung under the mower incorrectly.

you will need to park the thing on a hard level surface, such as a concrete pad. measure the gap between each corner of the deck and the ground. there will be adjustments for each corner and that is where the owner's manual comes in handy. the most frequent cut problem i see is that someone has put the blades back on wrong. the little vanes go UP so as to create a vacuum which stands the grass up for cutting.

Hello I have a Mountfield MPR10071 46" power mower with a Honda GCV 135 4.5 engine just bought it second hand and its fine other than if you let go of the cutting lever it stalls! is it supost to do this ?...

I suspect you mean the OPC (operator presence control) lever? This is a safety feature - if you let go, the blades stop. Since your mower does not have a blade clutch, this means the engine stops.

All walk-behinds HAVE to have this feature if manufactured after (I think) 2002 in the UK - similar rules apply elsewhere.

There's no easy way to disable it - if you tie up the handle so you can empty the grass catcher with the engine running, you will find that you have no way of stopping the engine.
