Normally you have to separate the door panels (as shown in the attached photo) and then you'll see the previously hidden screws you need to remove.

Or you can watch a YouTube video (not a video I made) that demonstrates how it's done.

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

Sometimes it's thin clear tape, sometimes (especially in the case of seal tape) it will be a little thicker and like foam tape.

If it won't peel off easily, heat it up with a hair dryer, being careful not to get the dryer too close to the plastic because it may melt.

You may also use a solvent like WD-40, penetrating oil, or even cooking oil to help loosen the adhesive.

Just be sure not to get it in visible areas.

Instead of spraying the solvent on the parts, spray it on a soft cloth and dab it onto the parts and let it set a few minutes.

Then when the tape is off, use a 50% or 70% isopropyl alcohol to make sure the parts are squeaky clean and dry.

How do I replace the inner door glass on a neff C67M70 microwave

Not easy. All microwave repairs should be done by a professional. Oven doors are easy, but they make microwaves harder because they need to be sealed and checked for radiation leaks. Traditional ovens are easy, microwaves aren't.

Can I replace the door seal on my Whirlpool Integrated Microwave?

Gaskets are available, but with all microwave repairs, I would recommend using a repair technician unless you are confident of doing it properly. The door should be checked after all repairs for microwave leakage.

How to replace door handle on whirlpool microwave model MH2155XPS-0

The door handle can easily be replaced on MOST microwave ovens by removing the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. The following link explains how to access and replace the door handle:

http://www.fixya.com/support/r3696942-microwave_oven_door_handle_replacement

The average cost for a replacement handle (if required) usually runs about $20 - $40. Replacements may be purchased at the websites listed in the link I provided. Several of these sites also have helpful exploded view parts illustrations to assist you with parts identification and how disasemble/reassemble your appliance. A replacement part number for the model you have listed is 8169738.

The door handle is a simple repair that can be done with the door in place, or with the door removed. You do not have to uninstall the oven if this is an over the range model.

NOTE: If you wish to remove the door, all you need to do on most models is open the door all the way and lift straight up at the hinges. You may have to remove the grille cover located above the door on some models to accommodate being able to lift the door.

If you have any questions, please post back and let me know. I hope this helps you.

Replacing a whirlpool microwave door handle! got the new handle..how do I open the door up to screw the new handle on?

To replace the door handle you need to access the door handle screws. On MOST microwave ovens, you just have to remove the inner door panel that goes around the perimeter of the glass. This can be easily be accomplished by using a small screwdriver or putty knife and carefully insert along the seam of the inner panel and pry the plastic up. Work your way slowly around the perimiter of the glass to pop the panel loose. Use care not to pry against the glass. The glass is tempered and also has an RF shield that shields you from harmful RF radiation.

With the inner panel removed, the door handle screws are visibile and can easily be accessed with a screwdriver. Simply remove the broken handle and install the new one. Re-insert the inner door panel, gradually working your way around the perimeter of the door glass to ensure it snaps back into place and seats properly.

This repair can be done with the door in place, or you can remove it for easier access. If you decide the remove the door, open it all the way and lift straight up at the hinges. The door will lift off of the hinge pins. On some microwaves, you may have to remove the upper grill cover over the door (if equipped) to accommodate door removal. Place on a hard flat surface with some towels under it for padding. This protects the door facing from scatches.

NOTE: Some doors have a hinge pin that needs to be removed, or screws holding the door in place at the hinge.

You can view an exploded view diagram of your microwave at pcappliancerepair.com for reference. Just type in your model number and locate the parts listing for the door. If you have any questions, or require additional assistance, please let me know. I hope this helps you.

When you peel off the old seal tape, it's best to heat it up with a hair dryer and work slowly so it will all come off in one piece and to minimize the amount of adhesive that has to be solved and scrubbed off.

Microwave oven door removal

First you have to tell why you want to remove the door. The door seal is important to keeping the radiation from excaping and is not recommended to fool with it.

Inner 'glass' of door

The inner glass can and should be replaced. It protects the metal mesh screen from getting dirty, which can cause it to be damaged and allow microwave leakage.
