First check the Drain Pump filter, as the last 2 cycles of a machine is Drain & Spin, and if the Drain pump cannot drain the water, the filter may be clogged and the cycle won't progress to spin.
The washing machine may have a problem draining the water, if it cannot drain the water, then the cycle will not progress to Spin. You may have a foreign object in the Drain Pump Filter, this must be checked.
When you say the spin cycle is not working do you mean that nothing works in the spin cycle. For example: Does the drum move or does it move and but the water isn't drained out?
Timed out on drain cycle, basically you either have an outlet blockage or something is trapped in the pump, you can check the pump by opening the bottom right flap on the front panel, manually emptying the w/m and checking the pump filter for coins etc. Also, check the outlet isn't blocked. Good Luck.
Try reducing the amount of low sudsing detergent you are using. This can make the load too heavy and won't spin out. Remember suds have 3 parts, air, detergent, and water. The drain pump is designed for water, so if you see suds during the wash, it will be worst on warm and hot, then there is too much detergent, or is not low sudsing. I know Bosch reccommends HE, however HE liquids normally are not low sudsing, just High Engery. Also the Permanent Press cycles are always a lower spin speed. Hope this helps
