You could try resetting your camera but if the lcd won't come on that isn't going to work.
First I would try taking the battery out for at least 1 hour. That will allow the internal memory of the camera to drain out. Then reinstall the battery. If your lcd still will not come on you need to send it into repairs. Without the lcd we can't be sure that you were on the right option to reset. :)
Call the repairs center at 800-706-2534 and then keep choosing option 1. If they tell you to call Tech Support first just tell them that you already talked to tech support. LOL

Though I am sure your solution may have been fixed already.
The guide that the reflector moves along for the Zoom.. has probably been knocked off position (either the guide/rail or the "runner" of the reflector).
The D-535 Zoom camera has a 4x digital zoom in addition to the 3x optical zoom, which gives you a total of 12x zoom overall. Press the Zoom button and a zoom indicator will be displayed in the upper right corner of the LCD – the area in white represents the Optical Zoom range and the red area represents the range of the Digital Zoom. The W represents a wider area of view as you zoom out, and the T represents Telephoto as you are zooming in closer to the subject.
