Does the flash ready indicator also stay off, after you opened the flash and pressed the shutter release button half?
Because that could indicate there is not enough power in the battery to charge the flash.
If the light comes on, and still the flash does not fire, there would be a serious problem. My guess; that only can be solved at the service centre.
To be sure nothing else is wrong. Charge the battery first.
Then switch on the camera, open the flash, select fill in flash and press the shutter release button half. If the flash ready indicator lights, press the shutter complete and see if it works.
hopefully maybe the charger is bad ..the light might be on only indicating power coming into the adapter but not out!!!..invest in a new charger and battery
try this. It is the reset for the waste ink error (8 flashes)
1) With the printer power OFF, while pressing the Resume button, press the Power button. (Do not release the power button.) 2) While pressing the Power button, release the Resume button, press the Resume button again twice, and then release the Resume button and Power button. 3) The green indicator flashes during initialization. When the indicator stops flashing and remains on, press the Resume button 4 times to clear waste ink message. (The indicator toggles between orange and green each time the Resume button is pressed.) 4) Next, press the Power button, and the green indicator will light, and the function will be executed. 5) Turn off the printer then back on and error should clear.
Remove the battery and keep the battery unplugged.
Hold the power button down for 15-20 seconds. (Nothing will appear on the display and none of the lights will light up.)
Release the power button and plug in the ac adapter ONLY. (Please note that a power indicator light should be lit on the ac adapter when it is plugged in).
Normally power on the notebook.
If the unit does not power on, remove the ac adapter and insert the battery into the system.
Plug the ac adapter back into the system, the battery charging indicator light will light up. If the battery charging indicator light does not light up, the ac adapter may not be providing proper power to the unit, and may need to be replaced.

If all the lights are coming on then going off again the controller needs to be synched with the wii. Once it is synchronized after all the indicator lights flash one should stay on indicating which player you are (1 -4)
To synch a controller to the wii:
Make sure the wii is in
Open the battery cover on the wiimote
Open the front panel of the wii
Press the synch button on the console
Press the red synch button on the wii mote
Should work for you.
