Question about Zodiac Jandy AquaLink RS All Button Wired Dual 2/6 White Control Panel - 6892

1 Answer

Have Jandy AquaLink RS w/ Blue Haven BH6100 control panel in the house. When in Spa mode the spa drains into pool. Help.

During normal operation: in spa mode the pool jets don't run, only the spa. But now when put in spa mode the spa jets run, and the pool jets run, and the spa drained completely into the pool before I caught it and refilled the spa.

Recently purchased a second hand spa but having problems getting it to run. Jets run perfectly for a period of 4 minutes and cut out but power still goes to the motor and causes a humming sound.

Normally I would tell you to check your warranty (but seems you don't have manual)
* Check panels and equipment for contact number and call for support.

*** Following is for information only.***
* Sounds like a restriction in output of pump system.
* Do not allow a "Humming" pump to continue operation. Burn out may occur. Turn off power.
* Need to check the water flow. Start from suction intake.
* Check screen and clean.
* Check intake hose(s) for obstructions or restrictions.
* Is there sharp bends or weakness in hose. It should be a ridged pipe with no sagging or squishy parts. (It will collapse during high suction.)
* Check the intake manifold and shutoff valves for operation. (all intake valves should be fully open when in use.)
* Keep following water pipe (flow) to filter basket(s) then pump. Check and clean.
* Output may have a manifold valve system. Check and clear. Confirm the output is directed back to pool.
* Suggest contacting your local pool service for additional advice.
* The following has more detail in pool operation. (may void warranty.)
* Do's and Don'ts;
* Basic pool Maint.;
* Cleaning impeller;
* Backwash;
* Priming pool pump (starting);
* Repair;

Spa overheats because no circulation during heating process

As I'm sure you know the low speed is the filtration & heating cycle.
If you've checked the terminals on the board and on the pump & there's nothing wrong. Use a voltmeter to test if each leg is getting the right voltage. If not its likely the motor is bad.

How do I tell if my spa is in standard mode

I don't think this unit has a switch between economy and standard, it must always be in standard mode. Below is filter cycle programming in case you need that info.

Filter Cycle Programming
The first filter cycle begins six minutes after the spa is energized. The second filter cycle begins 12 hours later. Filter duration is programmable at the Master Control Pad for 2, 4, 6, 8 hours or for continuous filtration, (indicated by
"FC"). The default filter time is two hours. To program, press "Temp", then "Jets." Press "Temp" to adjust. Press "Jets" to exit programming.

My pacific hot tub has LOC on the display and i cant adjust the jets or temp. Is the display locked and how do i unlock it?

Yes LOC is a standard topside lock code.

Try these common unlock codes,

Press & Hold Jet Button for 6 seconds
Press & Hold Temp Up & Temp down for 6 seconds.

Possibly your jet button is faulty i.e. it is broken internally or when it is pressed the button sticks in the on position and locks out the panel.

If those common codes don't work let me know which brand/topside control your spa has and I will get a more specific answer.

We are renting a house with an in ground concrete pool. Repeated attempts to get the pump and filter going have failed. The pump motor starts but there is no movement from the pressure gauge on the Sta...

The pump does not need to be on during the fill process. You don't need to turn the pump on until the water level gets to the middle of the skimmer. The skimmer pulls water out of the pool to power the pump. It then goes through the filter and out the returns (jets) into the pool. If there is not enough water going to the pump (through the skimmer), the pump will run dry and burn up.

Hi! I have a Hayward Pro pool/spa system with Jandy valves and I'm trying to figure out how to switch them from pool to spa. Either I empty the spa or I'm heating the whole pool. Help please!

This is tough cause I can't see the valve setup. I have to assume they are manual valves. Normal operation probably takes some water out of the pool and spa than puts it back into both. To heat the spa, set the intake valves(the ones in front of pump) to take water from only the spa. Set the jets(valve(s) on output side of filter) to send water back to only the spa. The pool will be out of the loop. Normal operation usually has water taken out of pool and spa than put back into both. Make sure to put more water back into spa than you take out, (Adjust valve)

Jacuzzi Laser II: Problem with the Heater/filter setting. The jets come on when it's on this setting. When I turn it to Filter setting it's fine..when I turn it off the jets come back on What gives?

The jets will run while in the filtration / heating mode. If the spa is in the middle of the filtration cycle, the jets will stay on until the cycle time runs out. So, if the spa jets are on during this time, they are on for the full duration, 2-6 hours every 12. You can cycle the jet button to high, but when you try to turn them off, they will just go back on low.

Freeze protection interrupts spa operation in cold weather

There is NO WAY to override freeze protection. Removing the air temp sensor when in spa mode via a relay may be your only option.
