Question about Mitsubishi WD-52725 52". Rear Projection HDTV
I own a mitsubishi WD-52725 and for some reason when I hook up my cable I get 27 channels. Some of these channels are "basic" and some of them are "extended basic" like G4 and national geographic but Im missing tons of channels from both tiers. I've been told I need to program them into my tv. But to do that, I need to access the antenna option which is just a grayish color that I cant even select. I had a cable box previously and that worked fine but im downgrading to just extended cable and now im having problems. Can anyone help?
Hi,
It sounds like you haven't selected cable in the "pull-down" menu. You see, you physically have to tell your tv if you're selecting "over-the-air" programs(free), or cable. Select the cable option &
then run "auto-select". Your tv will go through it's steps & find your cable stations. I hope this helps.

I am having the same problem except that the problem was caused when switching cable cards from a Motorola single stream cable card to a Scientific Atlanta multi-stream cable card. I cannot choose either "air" or "cable" in the tv antenna menu because it is greyed out. As a result, a lot of the channels won't stay programmed into the tv. Help!
