Cant access "Antenna" in tv menu to change to cable
I own a mitsubishi WD-52725 and for some reason when I hook up my cable I get 27 channels. Some of these channels are "basic" and some of them are "extended basic" like G4 and national geographic but Im missing tons of channels from both tiers. I've been told I need to program them into my tv. But to do that, I need to access the antenna option which is just a grayish color that I cant even select. I had a cable box previously and that worked fine but im downgrading to just extended cable and now im having problems. Can anyone help?
Re: Cant access "Antenna" in tv menu to change to cable
Hi, It sounds like you haven't selected cable in the "pull-down" menu. You see, you physically have to tell your tv if you're selecting "over-the-air" programs(free), or cable. Select the cable option & then run "auto-select". Your tv will go through it's steps & find your cable stations. I hope this helps.

In the menu screen, you must find antenna connections. For example " TV Air "(over the air channels 2 through 13) or cable TV. You must tell the menu to select cable TV (with the original remote). This will allow you access to channel 90. Thanks for asking and show a few hands of support.
all done so far looks good. But the part where you went into the menu is about i'd like to talk:
before you send to auto-program feature. try to find changing the band where the tv is working now.
Let me explain.
The tv is looking channels in the antenna or air band. Make sure you change the selector to CABLE.
this selection usually it is previous to send to auto-program.
if all this was done and nothing change, we need to send the tv into the workshop to check the tuner and voltages related to it.
