I have the neptune front loader. The lock light wont come on and the door wont lock. During a wash cycle the water just started comming out of the door. If I hold the stop/start button manually the light still wont come on but the water will drain out properly. Tried to start a new load and the button wont even stay on at all. I let go and the machine stops.

Possible bad door switch or defective board.

Hum may have a bad water pressure switch? It detirmines when the wash cycle should start according to the water level. if bad it will not signal the appliance to start washing. Also may want to check ur door lock switch if its bad it wont go into wash either.

Not sure if you mean when it is fully off or operating, but if you mean that once it is operating the door won't open, then the following applies...

Once a front loader wash cycle starts, the door on a front loader is physically (electronically) locked until the full cycle ends after spin dry. This is to prevent anyone opening the door and letting all the water out in the middle of the wash cycle, which a lot of people try to do to put in more clothing etc.

Is your door lock light on when machine is in use? I am having the same issue as you and I believe it is because my door is not locking during use.

Sounds like the door lock unit isn't locking and may be bad. It is also a possiblity but not likely that there could be a problem with the computer board but start with the door lock unit first

possibly door lock not latching could be a bad wax mtr (within door lock asm) or control board

HI...mine has just started dong the very same thing. I unplugged it to reset the computer and tried
just the 'spin' setting....still...the water is still in the machine....not sure what to do. I thought a blockage too.

Start the washer in a cycle. When the door locked light comes on, before unit gets to full of water, see if you can pull door open. If so, you probably have a broken latch. The wax motor is activating the switch, but latch is not actually closing. There was a door latch upgrade for some of these models.
