1. you can uninstall the printer then reinstal the printer if it does not work
2. you will have to restore your system to earlier backup (start.. accessories..system tools.. restore) your post is dated 9 Feb if you restore you will lose any new program you have installed but you will note lose any data like doc photos

The link below will take you to Canon website and should put you into the pdf. Owners manual. In the contents box aon the left, click routine maintenance and then click on replacing a Fine cartridge. Aset of instructions with pictures should be displayed.

The disconnect-problem was caused by the settings of the WiFi-router.
The settings are:
Capture(wlanadv.beacon) Beacon Interval: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 100, Capture(hwlad2.milli) Milliseconds, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 1 - 65535) Capture(wlanadv.dtim) DTIM Interval: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 1, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 1 - 255) Capture(hwlad2.frathrh) Fragmentation Threshold: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 2346, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 256 - 2346) Capture(wlanadv.rts) RTS Threshold: ( Capture(hwlad2.def) Default: 2347, Capture(hwlad2.range) Range: 0 - 2347)
This gives an optimal performance of the router, The default setting work fine for the printer, but gives less performance.
I now use a seperate wifi-router for the printer.
All is fine now.

I just installed my new printer HP F4280, when gives print command in MS office it give error message MS office has stopped working

Thanks for sharing the problem with me.
Please first check printer installation:-
Start --> Printers and Faxes --> Right Click the printer --> Properties --> Print test page.

Problem might be Lose cartridge, Lose cable connections, Paper Jam, previous aoverloaded print que. Please Rectify all this.

There may be a hardware problem with printer itself please take help of printer technician in that case.

If this works, then start MS word, type something on page.
Click on print and select the right printer and print. It will work GoodLuck

Our wireless printer loses communication with pc

You are losing contact because you are losing your IP address for the printer. Do this:

Click on start>run>type in "cmd">then go to c:> prompt by typing cd\. Type ipconfig /release then type ipconfig /renew. This will re-establish your IP address for the printer and will not change for 24 hours. If you lose your contact after 24 hours then you need to contact your Internet Service Provider, tell them that your DHCP server is not renewing your IP address. There is nothing else that can be done on your part. The ISP provides the IP address.

Printer eventually loses connection...

Try to upgrade the firmware revision to the last one (1.21).
I had similar problem with the dpr-1260 firmware rev 1.00.
Now after the firmware upgrade the problem seems solved
