Channels continually running

Starview 3 box.when i press the channel buttons they continue through all channels.wont let me 1570 either

buttons dont seem to work properly its as if the box isnt seeing the remote

when I press 1570 the hidden menu will not come on anymore

When I press 1570 the hidden menu doesnt appear anymore. I have tried turning off the power the pressing menu button as soon as possible but it still doesnt work.

Try switching the box off . and then on at the powerpoint .as the box comes on. press menu as soon as possible you should then be able too acess the the hidden menu by pressing 1570

Starview box(3 YEAR OLD)gone off,follwed instructions to factory

1st have you scanned the correct provider ex NTL, TW etc?

2nd did the scan find any channels or none at all?

EMU is the emulation to unscramble the channels, to access this in a starview press menu enter 1570 to bring up the secret menu, scroll down to Key EMU and use the <> buttons to turn on.

Exit out and select a PPV channel eg Sky Sports 1 and it will update. You are then set to go.

If no channels are picked up with the scan then check the VM website to see if there are engineering works in the area causing the problem.

Not 100% certain that this'll work but this is what I did & hopefully it'll work for you too - good luck :-
Subject: Star View 3 The Box Super when channels discappear ;o) 1. Press menu then Factory Setting & Enter code 0000 to reset. 2. Exit to main menu & enter 1570 to get into the CASS SYSTEM & turn EMU on 3. Reinstall channels (Goto Installation, Cable network (try TW first & if no channels try NTL then C & W and so on - I'm with Virgin & used the setings for TW) & Voila ;o) Nb: You may have to redownload channels so reconnect yr box to the computer & follow the link below http://www.4shared.com/file/76886028/fd4ac296/GTRom_the_box_Super_8102e_081129.html?err=no-sess & press download !!!

Press menu then Factory Setting & Enter code 0000 to reset. 2. Exit to main menu & enter 1570 to get into the CASS SYSTEM & turn EMU on 3. HAVE U PUT NEW SOFTWEAR ON WITH USB PEN IF NOT GOOGLE IT PUT NEW SOFTWEARON PEN STICK IT IN THE BACK PRESS HDD LOAD SOFTWEAR AND THEN WILL WORK

Hav the box super starview 3 lost most channels

For starview super box

Press MENU

Press 1570

Go to NAGRAVISION and press OK

Go to Key Number with the arrows on your remote, press two times to the right. Now you should have 00 again

Go Key Data and enter this code: B0 B8 4F 04 E6 5F 87 80 and press OK.

Go back to Key Number and press arrow to change to 01

Than go back to Key Data and enter code: A3 EB EC 07 06 49 D2 EB and press OK.

Last step: press EXIT 3 times. Your channels should be now restored.

Ps. Make sure to install all numbers and letters of the code don’t over look any of them for this will cause problems reinstalling your channels

look down list to make sure EMU is set to ON . press ok.
code screen service provider tab should be 5A01.

00. go to the bottom of screen and change the codes saving each code entered.

go to the 00 tab and press right to 01. go to the code tab and change codes saving each code as entered.
