I have a blackberry curve 8310 and i had to replace the outside clear screen on it and when the tech put it back together and sent it back it was not put on correctly and now it is full of dust underneath...

You can prise off the clear screen with a small thin flat-head screwdriver or the like, give it and clean and replace the clear screen again. If it loses its stickiness when you take it off, then dab a couple of drops of glue along the edge before replacing.

Beats having to take the phone completely apart

I dropped my pantech matrix in the water and the screen is white around the edges but i can see the screen

you need to first take the phone and have it service and the screen replaced so take it to a mobile repair shop.

Nokia 6210 Nav new screen just flashing white

These models 5110,6110,6150,6210
Are very sensitive in display contact.
Sometimes if u just dropp the phone The screen can start to fade.
take the phone apart again and dlean all the gold-plated connectors on the screen and contact areas on the mainboard with a cotton stick soaked in
isoprophanol. Let it dry avoid fingering on the cleaned surfaces.
mount the screen carefully to the mainboard tighten the skrews from left to right to finally tighten the skrews carefully.
This should do it! Please vote!

Dropped my cell in water

does your phone still work after being submerged?? i did the same and it was toast...

the screen is layered...glasss, lcd, and they are not meant to come apart. The phone needs to be left out, taken apart as far as you can get to air out. Leave it for a day or so, and put together. Hope this helps

LG ku990 blank screen

yea mate I broke my screen a few months ago. So I bought a new screen from ebay (about $70 AUS inc P&H) opened up my viewty and replaced it. All parts in the phone snap in together no soldering required. The screen connects through a simple snap in ribbon cable. Only tricky part is that adhesive strip that holds the front cover in other than that the phone should come apart with some light prying.

cheers

It turns on but a blank white screen only shows

i had the same issue when my phone got slightly wet. try taking everything apart (sim card, battery, back). let them dry out for a little bit then after like a day or two put the phone back together. turn it on it will be a white screen for a little bit but give it like 2 or 3 mins and if should come back. I did this for my phone cuz i really needed the pictures off it and it worked! hopefully if will work for you too. GOOD LUCK!
