Also how do I reconnect the fan?
It sounds like you may have a broken potentiometer (aka volume knob) for the master volume control. If that is the case, you would need to replace it with a new one (or take it to an electronics technician to diagnose and repair).
Regarding the fan disconnection, this likely isn't causing your issue but you would still want to reconnect it as it keeps your amplifier cool while in use. Reconnecting is fairly straightforward - all fans have 2 or 3 wires that connect to corresponding terminals on the amp. Just make sure you don't mix up which wire is positive and negative, and make sure they are connected firmly and securely.
The symptoms you described suggest that there may be several possible issues with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker. Here are some steps to diagnose the problem:
Check the battery: Ensure that the battery is fully charged or replace it with a new one if needed. If the battery is old or worn out, it may not provide enough power to the speaker, causing the crackling sound.
Check the connections: Make sure that all cables and connections are properly plugged in and secured. Loose connections can cause crackling sounds or no sound at all.
Check the volume: Turn up the volume on both the speaker and the device connected to it (such as a phone or tablet) to see if that resolves the issue. If the volume is too low, it may result in no sound or faint sound.
Test the mic and instrument input: Try connecting a different microphone or instrument to the speaker to see if the problem is with the original mic or instrument. If the new mic or instrument works, then the issue is likely with the original device.
Check the speaker components: If none of the above steps work, there may be an issue with the speaker's components. It's best to bring the speaker to a professional technician or authorized service center for repair.
Hopefully, one of these steps will help you diagnose and resolve the issue with your Kustom Bluetooth PA speaker.
Let's start from the basics and go through the set-up.
Are you connected via HDMI? Sound should go through this connection but it could depend on your computer's output.
Are you connected via VGA (blue connector) or DVI (white connector)? These need a separate audio lead to hook up the speakers to the computer's output.
If these are ok, is the volume on the monitor up and also in the computer's sound settings? Feed the volume at full from the computer and use the monitor volume to adjust the sound levels.
Is it for all sound or specific programs that don't have sound? Check the volume mixer settings for each program running to adjust the volume for these items.
The way to test whether or not the television needs to be repaired is to do some things to it after it has cut off the picture. Making sure you can still hear the sound but no longer see the picture turn the volume up and down. If you can hear the volume increasing and decreasing, but you cannot see the volume indicator itself on the screen then you'll know that possibly the inverter(s) is/are loose or that the inverter board needs to be replaced. If you can see the volume indicator moving back and forth across your television screen then you might have a problem with your signal source i.e. your set top box (cable box/satellite tv box), your connecting cables or the connections themselves.
Nintendo DSi & Nintendo DSi XL - Settings - Mic Test You can use this feature to verify that the system's built-in microphone is working properly. How to test the microphone:
On the Nintendo DSi Menu, use the stylus to select the Settings ("wrench") icon.
Select the right arrow twice to go to page 3, then select "Mic Test."
Speak into the microphone (the microphone is located on the center of the hinge).
The volume bar will fill up with colored bands when it picks up sound.
If the volume meter does not fill up, check whether anything is connected to the headset port. If noting is connected and test still does not work, then there is likely a problem with the microphone and the Nintendo DSi will need to be repaired. Please click here for repair information.
If the volume meter responds, then the microphone is working properly.
I have a Korg C-15s and also experiencing loud crackling sounds when I turn it on. The problems seems to be either the sliding volume control or the amplifier itself. Honestly though, I believe the issue is the volume control. I opened my piano to get a closer look and attempted to clean the contacts on the volume. Unfortunately after cleaning the contacts, the crackling sounds became somewhat worse. After I turn the piano on, the volume control is generally rendered useless......volume set to low volume and the noise is quite loud and other times the volume control is set high and get very low volume crackling noise. No real consistency. The noise does diminish after a few minutes but so does the piano sounds to an inaudible level. There were a couple of instances where I turned it on and surprising enough, no no noise and perfect sound. For these reasons I believe the issue is within the volume control and not so much the amplifier. I have an electronics background and noticed that the volume control is very unique in design and is not something that can be substituted with another volume control from other sources.
My recommendation is to check the sound quality of the audio from the RCA L/R audio outs on rear of the piano by connecting to a stereo receiver. If it sounds fine you're in luck. If the crackling sound does not diminish after a few minutes like mine does, I would suggest disconnecting the internal speakers and using the audio out only. You can connect a pair of studio monitors or high quality computer speakers, preferably with a small subwoofer to deliver the full audio range and deeper tone of a real piano. I'm currently using a basic pair of Logitech computer speakers and is quite acceptable until I can afford a high quality set of monitors or relocate my piano closer to my high quality Yamaha receiver.

Install a clean version of the software from the Philips website first.
Then,, Make sure you back up all songs on the GoGear before attempting this solution. 1) Back up all files on the GoGear 2) Open up Philips Device Manager (Start --> All Programs --> Philips) 3) Click on the Repair Tab, and look for a msg that says connect the player while holding the volume + button 4) Disconnect the GoGear from the computer and turn the GoGear off - hold in the volume + button and continue to hold it as you reconnect the GoGear to the computer; after holding the volume + button for up to 20 or 30 seconds, a window will open up saying that your device is being repaired (now you can let go of the volume + button); after the repair is successfully complete, your GoGear will be good as new Now you can do the firmware upgrade that will prevent this problem from occuring in the future. Open up Philips Device Manager and click the Update tab. This problem was caused because most GoGear's were designed for Windows XP with Media Player 10 (which is no longer the latest standard). -Tha Mp3 Doctor
double check that the speaker wire (green) is connected in the back of the monitor and into the back of your pc into the green connection, if it is and there is no sound you can always use a seperate pair of speakers, as it will be cheaper than repairing the monitor.
