Mu Stoves dom600 electric oven randomly turns on by itself. It is a double oven and at first it was just the top oven doing it, now the bottom oven has started coming on. I have had to start switching it off at the wall, but would like to know how to fix it.Mu Stoves dom600 electric oven randomly turns on by itself. Likely you need a thermal cutoff replaced near where your heating elements are. It senses the fault and shuts down. You can but an after market thermal cutoff from most any electronic parts supply, and maybe even from an appliance parts supply.
the flashes of light sound like a heating element problem, and as far as it turning on itself thats a control issue, I would leave it unplugged for safety reasons.
I am trying to see if I can find some information online about this particular oven.
