Question about Polycom VSX 7000s Video Conference
I was in a call to a classroom VSX 7000. That side heard a shrill pitch coming from the VSX. I told the teacher to turn it off and turn back on. The opening polycom icon movie sound cannot be heard. The display and video are fine, but the audio is all garbled on the call. I visited the classroom and tried reconnecting the lines but the sound still is garbled. I placed another unit in classroom and it works fine. We thought it might have something to do with the infrastrucure of the school. Is there something that I can reconfigure in the systems or update the software?

no the power supply is propreitory( has multiple voltages) & is not advisable, u could blow up ur expensive confeencing equipemt.polycom has designed it in that manner!!

Check out the following things:-
1. When dialing a ISDN number, be sure that the call preference has not been set to IP H.323 on the home screen just below the dialing field.
2. Check with your service provider that outwards dialling have been enabled on the lines provided to you.
