I have a Tassemo coffee maker which i purchased because the Melita coffee maker i had was a leaking mess, WELL guess what when I brew coffee, cappucino or espresso in my new Tassemo maker, it spills more water in the base than in the cup HELP
All you have to do is push the filter down into the base of the water caraf. You have to be careful as there are now 2 different types of filters being sold. The Bosch filters will not fit into the Braun machines and vice versa. The only local store to me that sells the filters is Bed Bath and Beyond and they have stopped carrying the Braun filters. The only place I have been able to find them is on the Tassimo website. Good luck!
I think it's supposed to do that. the cup at the base is supposed to be catching all the water that the tassimo is 'leaking'. it should be dumped after every cup of tea/coffee.
if you have taller cups, and do not use the cup base that comes with the machine in order to fit the taller cups under where the tea/coffee comes out, then you are right. it seems like it's 'leaking' because it is. there should be enough room in the base for one cup, but then it can also be removed so as to dump the excess water out after the cup is made.
hope this helps!

It is not any more dangerous than any other coffee maker. Every coffee maker needs to be kept clean and descaled regularly to keep them safe. If you want to be "squeaky clean" use something like a one cup at a time drip coffee maker (Melita) and always use boiling water.
id guess the silicone gasket between pan and tank is leaking or you have scale blockage athe outlet to the sprayhead (clean with bunn spring) or directly at where the pan connects to the tank(poke it with a screwdriver or somthing.
I have a Westbend 24 cup coffee urn with a leaky faucet. I tried finding areplacement spigot for it but so far no luck. My spigot has a screw in the top that allow for disassembly. It looks to me that if I could get a replacement rubber O-ring I could fix it myself. Does anyone know where I could get this?

Unfortunately there are many reviews for your coffee maker that are negative as far as leaking is concerned.
Most have had leaking problems about 6 months after purchasing this machine.
I don't know what to say, but you may have to bring or send it back and get another one. Maybe a different brand?
You go my interest (I gind my own as well but not with a **** ginder), read THIS set of forum posts and maybe try some of the ideas there. Most sites I read said that it goes away with time and usage, but could take as long as a year! WOW.
