Program error in nokia 6600

When I boot the phone (Nokia 6600), as soon as the nokia logo comes up it gives a beep sound and displays KL START application with the option of choosing only ok,when u click ok, the phones boots normally. After this the bluetooth refuses to open, calendar refuses to open and the file manager refuses to open.When the phone is left on, an error message occurs at intervals and this error message says "error loading Screen saver". On some occasions the bluetooth loads then starts to malfunction, I have scanned the phone wit various anti-virus software but the proble still persist. I seriouly suspect the Operating System of the phone is it possible? and if so can I install a new OPS?

Smart11 have the right idea your bluetooth is the main problem... visit the nearest service engineer at your place maybe they have a software solution with your problem, if its doesnt work your bluetooth ic might have the problem (hardware problem)

hi,

you 6600 experienced software problem (corrupted software) and cannot boot that's why it shuts-off again.

Here is what you can do. switch off your phone and after it is totally off about 5 sec., switch it on again and immediately together you press call button (the green color), no. 3 key and the * (star key) before the nokia logo comes out. Do not release the keys until the screens displays formatting... wait until it is done and your phone will boot automatically and reset to factory setting.

try it again and again cause sometimes it will not format with just one try, it need timing to do it.

Why my phone n 6600, when I opened the phone sytem and error I came out my phone is not possible to open?

if you can access your phone. you can type this on the main screen *#7370# and wait for the phone to reboot. (that is for soft format) if you cant really acces your phone,, you can do manual hard format by switching of your phone and remove memory card and sim card. be sure that your battery is in good condition and must be full. power it on again then immediately (before the NOKIA logo appears) press together call key (green), #3 and the star key *. do not let go of the three keys until the screen displays "formatting". the phone will format itself and just wait until it will boot again. all of your program and files will be lost and will return to factory settings like a brand new phone. Do this several times because sometimes it will not reformat in just one try. be patient. dont forget to rate me...

Nokia 6600 Cellular Phone Problem

A. Blank screen phone unable to boot-up. B. Phone is only able to boot-up to “Nokia” screen (may flash “Nokia” 4 times also).
C. Install a program but unable to uninstall it.
D. Unable to delete certain files on C drive. WARNING: This will ERASE EVERYTHING on your phone
If you have any files that are important to you, make backups.
1. Make sure you phone is fully charged.
2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card (if possible).
3. Switch-off your 6600 phone.
4. Press and hold these three keys together
-Green dial key,
-Star key (*)
-Three key (3)
then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.
DO NOT let go the three keys until you see the “formatting” screen displayed
5. After a few minutes, the format will be complete. Your 6600 will now be at its original factory settings.Disclaimer: I will not be held responsible for anything that happens to your phone as a result of following my guide. Use this guide at your own discretion and risk.

N70 comes on with whie screen and hangs

a lot tobe done in that problem of your... but i can give you one of the best... place yur unit in table so you can be cmfortable...the press all the keys in same time these keys are key *,key3,the call,and power on switch... much better if you had buddy beside you..to hold the unit... press them in same time or together, dont release it until you dont see a word formatting... wait until it finsih and the unit will be restarted by itself... enjoy
