Problem when i installed in windows vista

Problem Description: Trying to use my Intel cs430 webcam. Windows has a update but it will not install it gives the following error number code 80070103. The cam will work for about 1 minute on msn then msn comes up with a error and has to be shut down Operating System: Windows vista ultimate

There is still plenty of hardware issues with Vista, so go to the cam or Windows web site for related issues and see if there is a patch. Make sure the cam is also set up correctly and use windows live if your'e still using MSN. You can also try installing Windows XP drivers as they are sometimes accepted and work.

Try completely uninstalling it then re-installing... otherwise theres something wrong with the install disk... try for a refund/replacement.

I have the Intel Pro cmera it was working on Vista now I have WIndows 7 ultimate and it will not work. when I try to use it on yahoomessenger it say webcamnot found on system

Update drivers using windows update option or install the same drivers which been used for vista, the drivers will be work on windows 7 as well.

Need drivers for window 7

Please note many older device refuse to work for Windows 7 as many companies choose not to have Windows 7 support in hopes to have you upgrade.

In order to find the latest drivers for this device you will have to visit the support section of Intel.com once there you can enter your make and model and pull up all drivers and software available. If nothing is listed for Windows 7 then they want you to go buy a new camera

Camera will not work on oovoo/skype. New computer

1st You download Webcam Driver. PC Camera Intel Driver Windows 7 After this install the Webcam driver in the system.
Installation of Webcam Driver

Go to the control panel
Click on the System Icon
Click on the Hardware Tab
Click on the Device Manager then
Select the Unknown Device or printer device where yellow Question Marks sign on it.
Right click on it and uninstall it.
After this go to the top of the device manager and click on scan for hardware changes.
Driver installation Wizard start.
Brows Your Driver from the Hard Disk and click on next.
Driver will be install.

Old itel webcam wont work with vista

well if it does pick the drivers up then just install any webcam software search it on google..try also searching it Vista drivers on internet if none work switch you OS to Windows 7 .. better then Vista

Hey I was reading these bulletins and people wouldnt really respond so ill try you guys =] I've got a Intel PC Camera Pro CS430 webcam, and its not compatable with windows vista..I really dont know what to...

That was a good way to get answered, mate :D
I'm afraid there is no Vista support for the Pro CS430, the support only goes up as far as XP Pro..
This is why so many Windows users reverted back to XP, you see, there was little or no support for so many devices. Apparently, the new Windows 7 OS will have better support for devices, but in the meantime, the only way to tell if you can get it working in Vista, is to download the XP driver from here, and right-click on the exe. file and click Properties, and then hit the Compatibility tab. Choose XP from the list and press Apply, then OK.
Now right click on the exe. file and click Run as Administrator.

This is a way forward for some devices but definitely not all.. worth a try..

If it doesn't work I'm afraid a new webcam will be necessary, or you could re-install XP..
