Initial printer set up

Just tried to set up printer for the first time. when i plug it in and turn it on, all of the lights flash repetedly and the printer will not set up correctly for me to install printer cartridges. Please advise. Thank you in advance.

Kingsley, Make sure you have removed all the packaging from the machine. Check inside the the cover etc. Uninstall the printer and Unplug the printer from the computer and from the electrical socket. Wait a few minutes plug in the printer don't hook the printer to the computer yet. Printer should let you install the cartridges. Download the latest driver package from HP and re-install the software and it will teel you when to hookup the printer. Good Luck, Tim

How to reset samsung M3320nd

To reset a Samsung M3320nd printer, you can follow these steps:

Vince the error you have is a motor wiring fault. No quick fix contact the provider that sold you your scooter for help or contact Pride @ 1-800-800-8586 ask for scooter tech support Hope this helps

Tv turns on. A blue screen appears. Then it shuts down in 20 seconds. The timer light blinks repetedly.

Try this:
1) turn on TV
2) from the remote control ..press MENU 2,4,7,0 then ENTER
3) tv will state on screen that it is INITIALIZING.
4) press the RESET BUTTON on front of TV.
5) should be good to go!

Hi Patricia,

Try to do a factory reset on the server.

Whilst the printer is turned off, press and hold the GO button as you plug the printer on to the socket. Notice that all lights on the printer will turn on as well. Continue pressing the go button until the light for the toner goes up and once its up, release the button. Next, hold down the Go button again until the "Yellow Status" light turns on once on, release the Go button. Wait for the printer to initialize and see if the error went away.

49.4401 service error on start up

Solution or Workaround:

1) TRY to flash the firmware.
2) Try cold reset and disk initializations.
3) Replace firmware dimm.
If you have a hard disk:
To resolve the issue it may be necessary to perform the Disk Init procedure.

Disk Init Procedure
1. Turn the printer off, then on
2. When the memory count starts on the control Panel, press and hold the Menu button until all 3 lights on the control panel are lid
3. Press the < button. The message “INITIALIZE DISK” appears in the display
4. Press the Check button. The printer will initialize the User space on the Compact flash and will continue it’s power-on sequence.

Epson Stylus Photo 1270. All lights flashing. Whats wrong and how can I fix it?

Hi Guys
I had the same problem with all lights flashing nothing working, happened after a panic power shut down. As with peter after the paper button was released, printer lit up like a christmas tree again. I played around with the button combinations and found that holding down the ink button instead of the flashing paper button cleared the problem. Great tip guys saved me a lot of money. cheers me dears clive.

Printer takes ages to process

NV RAM and HD
To initialize NVRAM
1. Remove any installed accessories (for example, a stapler/stacker).
2. Turn the printer off.
3. Hold down the DOWN ARROW ( ) button, and then turn the printer on. Continue holding
down the DOWN ARROW ( ) button until all three printer control-panel lights flash once and
then remain on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
4. Press the UP ARROW ( ) button.
5. Press the PAUSE/RESUME button. The display should show SKIP DISK LOAD.
6. Press the UP ARROW ( ) button until NVRAM INIT is highlighted.
7. Press the SELECT ( ) button. The printer initializes NVRAM and then continues its poweron
sequence.
Hard-disk initialization
CAUTION A hard-disk initialization erases and reformats the printer hard disk. Perform a hard-disk
initialization only if an error code on the control panel indicates an EIO disk error. Always try
initializing the hard disk before replacing it.
NOTE Before performing a hard-disk initialization, print a menu map and a configuration page (see
Menu map and Configuration page). Use the information on the configuration page to reset
any customer-set printer configuration values that the hard-disk initialization procedure
changes.
To initialize the hard disk
1. Turn the printer off.
2. Hold down the PAUSE/RESUME button, and then turn the printer on. Continue holding down
the PAUSE/RESUME button until all three printer control-panel lights flash once and then
remain on. This might take up to 10 seconds.
3. Press the BACK ARROW ( ) button. The display should show INITIALIZE DISK.
4. Press the SELECT ( ) button. The printer initializes the hard disk and continues its power
