OK my projection tv did not turn on,so I pulled the plug for 5 mins.,plugged it back in and nothing. So I tooked the back cover off located a fuse by the power supply removed it and it look OK.Put the fuse back in and the TV came on.It was about 24 hrs. till the next time I tried it and the same thing it wouldn't start up.So I took the fuse out put it back in and it worked again. Before I left work (approx.10 hrs.after using the TV)I tried the set and it started up.I did this for about 7 days in a row and the TV worked every time.Till the one day I didn't start it before I left for work and when I got off work and tried(about 24 hrs later) the set and nothing happened when I went to start it up.took the fuse out put it back in started up.

Sounds like you took a hit. Unplug your set for 30 minutes and plug it bcck in. It could have just locked up the micro. If this does not fix, unplug the set and take the back off. Plug the set back in and check the powersupply for your 5 volts dc. If it is there, replace your main pcb.
unplug all cords and cables from tv, then unplug tv, wait about 5 min, plug tv back in this resets, the "brain" if samething ....see if your bulb is glowing, or tv is hot to touch...always clean the breather slots or holes so fan can push or pull cool air..most of these tvs have a auto shut off for safety if fan has faulted out.....you might just have a DONE fan unit.
Hi,did you close the door cover?Make sure itsproperly shut other wise it won't tv light up. Reset the lamp timer? you can do this by unpluging the set for 5 min and plug it back(works for most sets). Was the fan running ok? You can clean it w an air pressure can. If you heard clicking or like wanting to turn on the problem could be with the board that powers the lamp. The board it's called the ballast. If its not able to provide the power to the lamp it will not turn it on and the red light will blink.
