My ge washer wssh300g1ww does not spin out clothes well
Hello, I too bought one of these washers(WSSH300G1WW). After about one year of operation i noticed that the low spin cycle was making noise so look at it and it was just making noise and not spinning. canceled the cycle restarted the machine but this time set the spin speed to high instead of low, it works on high. im guessing its the clutch in the machine that is faulty and really cant affoard to fix at this time. The thing is i liked to use low spin cause the thing would shake violently on high even with a small load. So now when it spins or i start the machine i make sure theres nothing close that its shaking will cause to fall and break. I also bought the matching dryer (dsxh47eg1ww) it too has problems, the bearings that hold the front of the drum up are going out, thing is i dont over load it and it seems that they went out or started to go out very early as my clothes were getting caught inbetween the drum and the dryer 2 months after i bought it. Im 42 years old so i remember when we had REAL washer and dryers. When quality was revered by companies and consumers. Those old machines ran for years (maybe even decades) without problems, replace a belt from time to time. Now days your lucky to get five years out of an appliance. I know these ones arent going to see 5 years. their about 2 years old and im ready to go find some 1970 model year washer and dryer, rebuild, give a custom paint job to call them retro.
We downloaded the book. Apparently there had been a pwr surge, so we unplugged it for a while. Upon restart, it seemed okay and we didn't stick around. After a while, my Dad happened to go into the back room, and found it still filling (overflowed everywhere!) Do you think this is related to the control board too?
