Changing to correct date on camcorder

You cannot use a flash with a camcorder - a flash emits a very short burst of light when triggered, whereas for continuous filming you need a constant source of light. Look at video light on eBay or Amazon.

Some camcorders have only an external battery charger. You may need to purchase an aftermarket charger for your camera or a dedicated charger from your local Sony dealer.

Mine was 1-871-457-11 known as 1-871-457-21 I bought it in simple repair shop that also repair sony camcorders(cost around 50 Pounds). Check yours and go to ask.
I menage to change it by miself. Good luck

nope sorry you need that docking device to connect it to computer
i have the same camcorder anyway the camcorder sucks u cant move around when you filming without getting buffer overload

I think AC power charger of your camera got defective first and later on battery lost its charge so no power for camera now to power up.
Try to borrow same charged battery from friend. neighbors etc and test your camera.
If camera power up, it is sure that charger has gone and you need new one.

The camera you mention has a built in hard drive for media storage.  The main drawbacks are image quality as the picture is highly compressed and you must export your media to your computer.  This feature is either really handy or an inconvenience - it all depends on your preference.
