I hope you can help. Ive unsuccessfully tried on many occassions to send a multimedia pic from cell phone to my email. Ive tried the basic approach using send a new message etc, however at the end it shows its trying to send the pic (shows 0% on the meter) but results in unable to send at this time. What could i possibly be doing wrong? I can't send text messages either, only receive them so I am thinking the problem must be coming from the same thing.
I do have the service to send both text and pics to an email.
Thanks for your assistance, Robyne

If your laptop and phone have a bluetooth connection, connect them via bluetooh with PC suite or PC studio which can recognize your phone and send photos by exploring your phone.
Otherwise try cable connection. If both said are not possible, send photos to your email via mobile internet and download them from your email by accessing from your PC.
Okay, what i do is set up an email just for this purpose. When you send your message it will usually ask what kind of message you wish to create. You can create it as an email and just send it to your email. If this doesn't work, what you could do is go to your mobile service provider's web site or google what format your cell phone's email would be. When you find this format, you can use your email account to send a message to the cell phone. ALSO!! some emails, such as gmail, will allow you to email a cell phone without the format code, but it sometimes does not work. You may also try to just send your picture to the email. When it asks for the number you want the picture sent to, you could just enter the email you would like the email sent to, as this is what i usually do to upoad my pictures onto facebook. Once the picture is sent to your email, you can save the picture by right clicking it and clicking on the 'save as' button. If you are not too keen with the computer you are using, you can click on the destination area as the 'desktop'. This will make a shortcut to find the saved picture right on your desktop. I hope this works =]
You should be able to send a text message with the picture attached to an email address.
to send a multimedia message/text message w. picture attached: -find the actual picture you want to send on your phone and select it -then hit your "menu" or "options" button, which should give you an option to send/share the picture -select text message or multimedia message (MMS) -in the "to" line for the text message, enter the email address you'd like to send it to -hit "send"
the photos you cant able to send the text message for sending the photo you need to activate multimedia messages then only you can able to send the photos
I'M NOT SURE BUT I HAVE A SONY ERICSSON AND WHEN I TRIED THE FIRST TIME I REALIZED I WASN'T SENDING A MULTIMEDIA MESSAGE BUT INSTEAD SENDING A REGULAR TEXT MESSAGE.... ARE YOU MM OPTIONS ALL ON? DO YOU GET THAT OPTION?
Sometimes if you are out of memory on your phone multimedia texts don't come through.
Also, you should call the carrier and make sure they have receiving enabled. Mine got disabled without my knowing and I called to check and they switched it back on.
Yes! its possible.Select that pic go to Options ,then to Send via Multimedia Message. In phone number tab instead of putting phone number change the text type to Alphabet and type your email address Example:[email protected].
You'll get your pic on your email address. Thank you!
With the sidekick you can only receive picture messages when they are send to your email address that you have with the sidekick plan. If you don't have the sidekick plan you will never get your picture messages.
