I had my children professionally photographed and the photographer put the photos in a DVD disk slideshow. When I play the DVD, the video will play on my TV, but the music doesn't play. I had her reburn it on a different disk, but the same problem occurs (video, but no audio). Is there a way to fix this so that i can see the video and listen to the audio of the slideshow at the same time?

CD and DVD disks use a different set of optics for each type of operation. Some units have a different laser for the different format types.
The fault could be mechanical alignment, calibration, or a failure in the signal and or processor path. These types of faults are impossible to guess at.
If the unit is under warranty, contact the dealer to find out how to get it serviced. If out of warranty it may not be feasible to service.
