Hi, if you look inside the grill from the back side, you will see there are small snaps inside near the edge of the cover. The snaps go around the entire cover and are about 3-4" apart.
I used a flat tip screwdriver to get push the tab up from the back and the inside of the grill. When you push up the tab a bit, then slide a small flat tip screwdriver on the outside lip of the front grill. You will have to do this all the way around until the cover snaps off. Putting it back on is a breeze because it just snaps together.

Hope this helps.... =) Hopefully you won't need the manual and im pretty sure they won't tell you how to take it apart either.

Lakewood mini tower fan #MTF-15 CAN I TAKE IT APART TO CLEAN IT??

How do clean the lakewood mini tower fan model MTF 15

How do clean the lakewood mini tower fan model MTF 15

Here is what one said:
"To clean it, you will need a small paint brush, screw driver either flat or crossed, then disassemble it. Loosen the screw and just be observant what you put apart. Then clean it. Good"

You may want to take it to a gas station and REALLY clean it out? OR a aerosol canned "AIR DUSTER" will be very useful too!

How can I clean a Lakewood fan, mine is so filthy and I cannot get in to clean. My husband says it does not come apart.

ok here is what I found....there should be screws on the outside rim where the two fan grates meet....then dust the innerds with a leaf blower or a rag, then use brake cleaner spray to soften the greasy dirt that formed, and again a rag to wipe away any residue....hope this works, it did for me
