Common problem of this subs are in the litles cables that goes to the voice coil. few times brock....check those. another .....if you heard the music too hihg with many bass..and your amp ..i think is big block... may be you blow off!!!!!!!!! the voice coil and the little wires...im calling trencillas...are the aquiles talon of this L7 and a manny others kickers. check the ¨TRENCILLAS¨ FIRST.

I have a Kicker Solo-Baric, L7, 12 inch subwoofer making a scratching noise. The cone is fine but the inside is not. Can i get this repaired? Kicker said no. This is a $250-300 sub. I hate to just throw it...

The bad news is that your voice coils could be fried up, basically mechanical failure. Might as well buy a new sub because replacing a voice coil means you got to rip the whole sub apart, very complicating.

I have 2 15 inch L5 solo baric subs and need a amp?

the 15" l5 is rated at 750 watts rms so i suggest you get an amp with atleast that much power because if you get a amp weaker than that you run the risk of clipping your subs and blowing them

Kicker Solo-Baric L7 S12L7 Car Subwoofer ... b-line or not ??

It is a normal subwoofer in a sense. These are very good subs. I had four in a regular cab s-10 and I just about died. I would recommend using a jl audio hd750/1. I was using two on my fouur subs and it worked great.

Wiring my kicker solo-baric 15's

The best you can do is connect the dual 2 ohm voice coils of each respective sub in series (4 ohms total per sub) and then connect each sub to one channel of the amp. This will give each sub 1000W, which is the rated maximum from Kicker.
