Samsung L730 camera. Is fully charged. Power button is permanently on. Lens locked - can't move in or out. No display

its lance problem , its most probebly happens with them, you just well servise the lance , if you are a technition then try it at home otherewise contact authored person

Very common problem, you have a bad lens. Unless under warranty the camera may be history.

maybe the lens is sticky clean it with a t.vor computer screen cleaner then it might work

Hi, I had exact the same problem with mine Samsung L730. I opened it and took the 2 flatcables from the circuit board (to the lens-unit) out of there connectors. After I put them back in again, the camera worked. I geuss it was a bad electric connection of the lens-unit. Maybe this will solve your problem. If the camera is older than 1 year and has no warrenty, just try this. Good luck.

Just fixed mine, if the lens is out that's the problem we had, it was jammed and not allowing it to switch on, we gently pushed it back in, then switched on, the lens came out a bit then jammed, pushed it in again & kept doing it until it cleared the blockage.  
Works fine now!

Met the same problem. I disassembled camera and found a lot of sand in lens transmission. I couldn't move lens even by hand. It was strongly jammed. I had to disassemble lens block completely to remove all sand. Now camera fully functional.
