I downlaoded the newest version of paltalk, and it tells me that I have a connection failure, and that I should either check my internet connection or to modify my firewall protection to allow a connection to paltalk.

Problem is probably you have too many programs open and you Ram is being used up. If it is a computer that is 2 or 3 years old you might want to consider a RAM Upgrade.
